The Strongest Alcohol You've Tried

I tried some Ouzo last night. It's greek vodka. It was 40% proof and i drunk half a bottle...i didn't get up for a long period.

You guys? I swear there's stronger electric soup somewhere.

Absinthe 140 proof

Jeremiah Weed 100 Proof

then the rest of the liquors.

Well when I was younger(5) my Dad let me try some of the foam of the Guinness and I've tried some of the muldwine(dunno spelling) not sure which is higher but bother were awful and I never want to try alcohol again.

Poitín has the same alcohol content as that but I've never heard of Everclear? Well I think it does.

Everclear, and homebrew which was tested at 94%.

Just absinthe (or technically the watered down version thats legal in England).

I tend to prefer to just stay with regular ale.

Ive had some fairly strong stuff, which i cant remember. Its rather pointless to go for "strongest" alcohol, if all that matters is getting wasted the fastest, give yourself an enema of any old alcohol.

Well when I was younger(5) my Dad let me try some of the foam of the Guinness and I've tried some of the muldwine(dunno spelling) not sure which is higher but bother were awful and I never want to try alcohol again..

It's mulled wine.

And if the only alcohol you've tried is that and Guinness foam, believe me, theres a lot more out there for you to try. Starting with actual Guinness.

ANYWAY.

Probably Vodka or Whiskey. They're both around the 40% mark.

Uhm, I'm uncertain.

Moonshine definitely, but the percentage of alcohol I'm not sure of. Within the 70%+ category, at least.

I rather just drink beer, though. Much more enjoyable, both in taste and experience.

Poteen. Irish illegal potato liquor. The one I tried was 95% ABV, the highest alcoholic drinks can actually go, because the rest is just water retained naturally.

It bared an alarming similarity to being kicked in the head. You have to be careful with that stuff, it'll very easily kill you. I just had one shot and it almost knocked me out cold.

Poteen is amazing. Out in rural Ireland it can be easy enough to get. It packs some punch. Just make sure you are sitting down when you drink it.

In my opinon, it tastes very bad and I prefer beer or fruity drinks and stuff like smirnoff ice
EDIT: Forgot, I've drunk 96% moonshine and Jägermeister as well.

Isn't 175 the highest on that scale, equaling 100% alcohol volume? I don't know that system very well, I always use %.

Absinthe has what like 75% or so? I tried that. I also tried Stroh Rum wihich had 80% I think.

Whiskey is still the king at around 40-50% though.

Well it was awful and I don't plan to actually drink any. I do know what Vodka and Malibu and other things like that taste like. I am sure you can figure out how without me having drank any and I don't plan to find out what others do.
