Also you will notice I tend to type with excellent grammar and punctuation; I only tend to spam caps when extremely excited. And this is one of those cases.

Actually, a sincere apology to those I quoted.
TF2 is considering it. The "fake" website in the OP was put up first, and then TF2 responded with what is on their site.
It's the team (basically) saying "hey, that's actually not a bad idea. We'll consider it."
So the team is considering it, but it is not completely confirmed yet.
