The Titles under our Names?

What do they mean? Does anyone know how they're decided? Because I've been "Gone Gonzo" for a while, just for my own curiosity. I'll delete this thread once I get my answer.

Edit I know it has to do with post count but I was wondering if there was a list or something I could look at.

This. They don't really mean anything. Though to my (limited) knowledge they are related to terms often used to describe people in journalism.

But they're pretty much pointless.

And the staff can make their own custom titles as well, so there's always the odd ones.

In the past, the Escapist held contests that rewarded people with a custom title -- see NewClassic for one example.
