Haha, very funny but before you wittily reply "this one" I feel curious to ask about the topics that annoy our community the most?

What topics do you think are most repeated on a daily/common basis, what is the most over-discussed topic, what topic do you hate or what topics do you hate but don't know why you hate them?

Me? I hate topics about celebrities and celebrity news. I honestly hate them. Also, and I know people will hate me for this but I hate topics on animes or discussion of anime characters. Nothing personal against anime lovers but I cant stand that genre

Not a big fan of anime threads either, nor am I fond of threads about metal music (no offense to anime lovers or metal-heads intended) which is why I don't click on them should I see them.

As a general trend though, angst ridden topics of woe and "losing faith in humanity" topics annoy me more than anything else. Oh and versus threads..boy do they annoy me!

Anything that starts with "Recommend me..." and then provides no detail beyond that.

Those are the vaguest questions imaginable and imply that the topic starter hasn't done any research of their own beforehand.

If you want a helping hand with your own research, I'll give you two. If you want something completely done for you, you can fuck off. Nobody gains anything for one person to do the work of another.

All of the 'wow, thank you guy's for being so awesome, isn't the escapist community just great' threads. They sicken me.

Anime isn't a genre.

Anyway, I'm generally not annoyed by topics of a certain kind because nobody is forcing me to read them. If a topic seems uninteresting, then I don't read it.

I guess topics with very vague or otherwise misleading titles are annoying because you don't know what they're about until you open them.

The generic romance advice threads,i mean if you're going to whine about your love life at least try to be more than "not sure if girl A likes me cuz i'm all brooding and deep thoughts?"

I'm not against romance problems threads really, i just wish they were less generic... Needs moar aliens, time travellers and...

Also when someone tries to ask a really shit "controversial" question where the logical answer is as transparent as fuck

Gun Control threads... oh god the gun control threads.

It's where you see the real side of people, controversial topics. And the real side of people here isn't pretty.

Any "Why all the hate for/why all the love for..." and "Am I the only one that liked..." could be answered in one simple line: People have different opinions. Why can't people grasp that?

Damn, Ninja'd. I'll take it one further though and go for threads that basically go.

'I HATE [Insert popular game here] BECAUSE [It's popular/I suck at it/My mother wouldn't buy it for me as she reads the ESRB labels] EXCLAMATION MARKS!'

Edit: Make that ranting threads in general. If you get worked up over it, take a good, long look at yourself.

Romance/relationship/sex threads that aren't in the Advice Forum. OK, I don't like them much even in the Advice Forum, but at least they can be answered properly, and if I'm in one of my frequent bad moods about being utterly unable to get any, I don't have to see them displacing better threads.
Pretty much this. They're irritating enough when you are getting some (though to be honest, once every few months isn't really that great either).

Any topic that has been posted at least half a dozen times in one week. I seriously think the newbies need to get out more.

VS threads where people try to convince each other why their favorite game is better then the other's favorite game -_-

threads with no text in them, just a title with a question,

threads with a title ending on ... (as to make you curious or something)

absolutely loathe them

Threads about overrated things, since they usually just fill up with people saying what amounts to "I didn't enjoy this work which is generally regarded as a masterpiece. That emans it's overrated!" as if their enjoyment of a work were the only thing tht decided whether it's good or not.

"What if the internet was going to disappear in X amount of time"

All it ever is is a bunch of pervs replying "porn".

Oh, and titles that are "____ and you!". I dunno why, but that "and you" part annoys the hell out of me.

Pretty much every thread related to zombies. They need to die...
But knowing zombies... they'll just pop up again, more rotten than ever :p
Then you've got to use fire :p
Oh, rookie mistake there!

Remember: If there is anything worse than a horde of zombie running at you, it's a horde of zombies on fire..running at you.
