There are two identical doors, one leads to Heaven, one leads to Hell. In front of each door, there is an identical guard.

You can only ask one question, to figure out which door leads to Heaven.

Small bit of information:
The one guarding Heaven always tells the truth, and the one guarding Hell always lies.

The question you ask must involve the doors or the guards.
e.g. you could not hold up a cat and ask one if it is a dog!

If no-one gets the answer after 3 days i will post it!

If you ask the Hell guard, he will say the door to hell, as he would say the opposite of what the truth telling Heaven guard would say.

If you ask the Heaven guard, he will say the door to hell, as he would say the opposite of what the lying Hell guard would say.

Thus, you ask either the above question, and choose the opposite.

I would point towards one of the doors and ask them if God is behind it. If it was heaven he guard guarding Hell would know that it is true and say no. The guard guarding the door to heaven would say yes. Vice versa if the door I pointed at was Hell.

Yes, that's the way everyone knows. Or you could just ask 'Are you guarding a door?' and the one who says yes is guarding the door to heaven.

I would ask either if the door he was guarding is purple, being able to clearly see that neither door is in fact, purple. If I asked the guard to Hell, he would lie and tell me that that the non-purple door is purple, despite my being able to see that it is not.

If I asked the guard to heaven, he would be honest and tell me that the door is not purple, which I already knew to be true.

I haven't read any other posts but I've heard this one before. Just ask one guardsman which door the other would say goes to hell then go through that door. Where's my cookie?

I would ask them "would you kindly point me to the door that nice fellow next to you is guarding?" and the truthful one would point to the others door and the lying one would point to his own door.

Easy, walk up to one of the guards and ask him if this door is the door to the bathroom. If the says yes then you know that door's the one to hell, and if the answer is "no" then you've found the one to heaven.
