It was a little light on the adventure and puzzle elements, especially for a game ostensibly modeling itself as an adventure game. Also, there was a LOT of dialogue. I love dialogue, don't get me wrong, but the game opens with about 10 minutes of two characters just shooting the breeze before anything really happens. Thats quite a while when your total runtime is about 2 hours. (though its definitely in the spirit of the show *zing*)
That said, overall I really enjoyed it. Once the story really got rolling around chapter 3 the pace didn't let up, and the characters were all pretty enjoyable. The dialogue was handeled well, sort of Alpha Protocol style, and I like that it did seem to make a difference which one you picked. The action scenes worked well too (a rarity in adventure games), and were frantic without really being difficult, which is important for maintaining a "cinematic" experience.
Also, for a Telltale game it's really deliciously violent, which was a rather startling change of pace from Monkey Island/Sam and Max. Even Jurassic Park was tame compared to Walking Dead.
