Well it's Sunday and I see no fire and brimstone raining down from the skies, so I think we're good. I never bought this whole thing but, amazingly, I heard stories of people who freaked out, quit their jobs, sold everything and bought tons of canned food. So what did you think of the rapture fiasco and the people who lost everything because they bought it?

The world wasn't really ending yesterday. All the "good Christian people" would ascend, and the world would actually end on October 21st.

I don't see anyone missing... so I can safely assume that no one is truly a good Christian the rapture didn't actually happen.

Actually, we're not out of the woods yet. The destruction isn't said to begin until October 21 now. This was all just about people dissapearing who were going to avoid dying in the rapture, but on October is when the "Earthquakes" and other cataclysmic Activities begin.
....Still not buying it though

Started by a Stupid man that did the same thing years ago and obviously was wrong then too, and anyone that acted on it was just as hit-n-miss in the cognitive faculties.

I was so disapointed.
I sat on my lawn all day and waited for the horsemen, since I was their fan from the beginning, even when they started selling out with the rise of Mass Media.

And then THIS!

Not only don't they show up to their gig AGAIN, but also they canned the preprogram, like the rain of blood and the dragon! In the end they left me with nothing,

I don't even know why I still keep showing up for church, if they can't stick to their appointments!

Didn't you know? We're all in heaven.

On a serious note:
the guys at rooster teeth made a funny "Friday" parody.

I was told "good christans" would get a vision of heaven, while everyone else would get a vision of hell.

Either Heaven is like any other Saturday, or Hell isn't so bad, or the guy is just a crazy person.

Oh wait, I think I did get a vision of hell.

All this rapture nonsense... all the news and people talking about it, flooding it everywhere. Its just a taste. When 2012 rolls around, it'll be 10x worse...

That's what it was? Gah, I've heard so many different versions of it. It's getting less and less funny.

Ah, well, there's always 2012.

It actually raises an interesting conundrum for the people who believed in the 21st prediction:

Were they wrong, and the rapture didn't happen. Or do they now believe that they are evil sinners who Jebus has sentenced to hell?

There might actually be some people on the planet who are really really scared about October 21st now... sadly a lot of them might well be children who were duped by their parents and are too young to understand :S

2012 won't happen unless a giant feathered snake appears and devours the world whole.

So says the Mayans. Funny how people leave that part out.

At least it's hilariously blunt instead of deliberately enigmatic.
