Theives Guild in Skyrim vs Theives Guild in Oblivion

Ok so I've been playing Skyrim to death and one of my favorite factions, the theives guild made its return to Skyrim but its different from Oblivions guild IMO i've only done the first mission with them were I went around asking certain people to pay up what they owe to the guild.
Now what I loved about the Theives Guild in oblivion was that they were noble they didnt kill they gave money to the poor and stole from the rich who didnt deserve their wealth.
while in Skyrim they're more intrested in making money
Anyone else agree or has some points to this?

i honestly couldn't get engaged in the theives guild in oblivion (couldn't find that guy you were supposed to sell the stolen items to) but i perfer this new approach FAR more

its less un-realistically heroic, thieves think about themselves first and foremost, its what they do

And it's 200 years in the future, the Thieves guild would have evolved by then, if it was still the same one, but it's not, so that's fine, they are allowed to operate differently, and yeah, spoiler tag yo shit please
