Just like the topic says. What "terrible" games do you like?

I'm not talking about those popular-to-hate games like MW2, or even more controversial ones that are overall well received like Far Cry 2 or Mirror's Edge. I'm talking about those games that the critics shattered to pieces and gamers generally took a dump on. The real stinkers. Which ones do you go "fuck it, I LIKE it!"

Mine would be Naughty Bear. I enjoyed the hell out of that cutefied Jason Vorhees simulator.

Similarly, both Turning Point and Legendary were fun to play for me. Sure, they're unpolished FPS's, but they gave me something different at the time, and I had a lot of fun playing through them.

Your choices would be..?

Hmm, for me it would probably be Blood Will Tell, and partially Haze, mainly from the concept. FFXIII I also love.

I agree with naughty bear, I really liked it for the first five hours, it was a lot of fun and really quite funny too.

Brink, as it seems to be generally disliked so far, there are some who love it, and I'm one of them.

Well the most controversial ones I've liked (even loved) have been Dragon age 2 and Mirrors edge, and I fail to see what peoples problems with them are :/ I also really liked Alpha protocol, despite it being made by Obsidian and being a little clunky :/

Dynasty and Samurai Warriors games.

Although I do admit that the Dynasty Warriors series in particular is going through some tough and experimental times.

Oh, tons. Too Human, Kane and Lynch 1 and 2, Final Fantasy 12 (Only FF game [not including spin-offs and side-titles] that I've actually liked, and apparently everyone hates it.). I'm sure there's more, but I only have my PC collection in front of me at the moment, and I can't remember my console collection all that well. Suffice to say, I don't care about other people's opinions. Just my own.

EDIT: Oh, and Dynasty Warriors 6. Even most DW fans I know hate that game.

There was a Nintendo 64 game called Dual Heroes. It was voted 'Worst Game Ever' by some Australian magazine poll.

I didn't even have internet when we bought this game, so I had no idea it was bad, and loved it.

Flower sun and rain. One of the best mindf*cks ever.

Alpha Protocol. Yeah it's broken, but I'm on my 3rd playthrough. Edit: apparently some "they" like it too...

Despite all the negativity that Dragon Age 2 received, me and many others enjoyed it immensely.

I hope they bring out some decent DLC soon.

I would also have to say Mirror's Edge.

That and Saboteur, I thought it was really good.

The original Assassin's Creed was better than I had expected too.

Clive Barker's Jericho. Which really is as bad as they tell you. The gameplay is linear to the max, the graphics are all reddish brown, unique enemy types are few and far between, the story is pure nonsense, and the acting doesn't help either. But I loved every campy minute of it.

Kane And Lynch: Dead Men. A lot of things people criticised it for, I really enjoyed (e.g. the swearing, the gun recoil and the general plot), not to mention I see so much potential in the multi-player mode.

Oh yeah, left this one out. I share your love, brother.
