You've pretty much got it in one for me. I look at Switzerland and Japan and wonder why the UK can't have public transport like that. Oh, and I look at France and wish we had such a sensible approach to nuclear power.

Is that a bacon butty with cheese where the bread has been replaced by two chicken fillets!?
Yes, yes it is.

Why can't America have it's own Wacken Open Air, festivals that have good music besides pop, and quality movies? That's a question I often find myself asking in this day and age. Modern age metal is on par with classic rock in the 60's and 70's at this point, and all the watered down "music" and ripoff artists make front page headlines.

I have to agree with you on that one, on the other hand we have the best living standards in the world, so I guess it evens out.

Of course, average wages are higher here than most other places, but paying $100 for a new game hurts. Especially when I see people on here complaining that their games cost $60.

Every time I watch Top Gear, and they're on one of their insane challenges in Japan or whatever, I always wonder why Aussie public transport is so crappy. I mean, it's just beyond ridiculous.

Since coming back from a holiday in Florida 10 years ago I have often wondered, Is there no such thing as a good cheesecake in England?

Good lord that looks heart stoppingly disgusting!
Agreed. I love fried food, but son of a biscuit eating bee-sting I could never touch that monstrosity.

OT: Nice people. We have such a shortage here...
/sigh

They banned Megavideo and Megaupload here in Hong Kong despite the fact that Megavideo's headquarters is in Hong Kong.
Damn copyright demons.

I almost never pay that much for a game, maybe you are going to the wrong stores?
