This will be continually updated as time goes one, likely once every other day.
Recently, I have played the first game I have played in a while (like, since the N64 days), Hitman: Blood Money for the PC. And I must say, it is a great game, am I am enjoying it. But I realized something earlier today. It is not the first game in the series, as I thought it was. It is actually the fourth in the series. This really, really annoyes me. I have a compulsion about not playing games, watching movies, or reading books out of order. Which brings me to my question, why couldn't they have numbered the game so I wouldn't have played it out of order with the rest of the series? Is that so fucking hard to do?
Let's look over the series in order of their release:
- Hitman: Codename 47
- Hitman II: Silent Assassin
- Hitman: Contracts
- Hitman: Blood Money
What happened after the second game? Did somebody get lazy and forget to include a number?
It should really be:
- Hitman: Codename 47
- Hitman II: Silent Assassin
- Hitman III: Contracts
- Hitman IV: Blood Money
