Things you get Bizarrely Excited About

What are those things that happen that you get excited over, and you really shouldn't.

I love waiting for the postman when parcels come. I've looked out for him every day this week - it's only the first book in The Wheel of Time, but I still get excited at about half 10 and see the postman down the street. Sadly, it's failed to come every day this week. Fingers X'd for tomorrow. Or the next day.

Damn, the next day's Sunday.

So, what are those little things in life that you just can't wait for and get uber-excited for, even though you really know you shouldn't.

Hahaha! I've been like that since about the 10th August waiting for a parcel, I got it yesterday >.<

But I know when the post mans due (about 11:10) and I know that one day soon, he'll be posting my uni accommodation letter!

Nice chap though, was talking to him yesterday when he knocked for a signature for the parcel..

But on topic... I get excited about spending an hour on the bus to go see my boyfriend.

I ordered a new laptop from Dell (shut up) and delivery was delayed by over a month. I couldn't wait for it, and I just got it two days ago. I'm very happy with it

Going to sleep so I can wake up the next day and eat breakfast. Then again, I usually cook myself my favourite meal of all time - an omelette with steak, cheese, and spinach, divided and put in two sandwiches.

My meat shipment. Seriously, I love waiting for the meat guy to show up with the Monday shipment. My purveyor usually comes with something else as a little treat because he knows I'll probably put it on my menu at some point. But other than that, just seeing the meat guy's truck pull up puts me in a tizzy. There's just something about a large shipment of meat that just makes ye feel so manly, and primal, yet it makes me feel like a schoolboy at the same time.
