Things you pretend to know about, but picked up from TV/Games

What's a subject you pretend around your friends or other people to know about but in reality you picked up from watching a similarly themed tv show/game?

Personally I'm guilty of behavioural psychology from watching Criminal Minds.

Expecting to see a lot of forensics in this thread but any others?

Hmmm...nowdays its so easy to do some half-arsed checking on the net to avoid looking totally uninformed if you are wrong.

Since leaving uni, parroting the words of people who should know what they are talking about isn't plagiarism anymore

I'm not meaning looking uninformed. The idea is that you look perfectly informed while doing it.

Plagiarism, copying from one person...
Research, copying from several...

Watching too much Lie to me and trying to do it, and realizing you really really can't.
Ive seen several films/TV episodes where a pilot dies and a random person has to fly the plane and it looks really easy.

Theres more that I can't think of now.

Medicine from watching Scrubs. You actually pick up more than you think when you watch the series over and over like me.

..And food after watching far to much Masterchef, Hell's Kitchen and The F Word.
