Hello Escapists, I just finished eating a piece of strawberry cake left over from Christmas. It smelled a little funny, but I ate it anyway. I now feels like my stomach is trying to fight its way out of my torso.

So my question is this, Is there anything you've ever eaten that in hindsight, was a huge mistake?

Junk food in general, especially McDonalds. After eating a grand angus and some chips recently I felt nauseous. Alas though, the hours I work it's the only 24hr joint that stays open at 2am

A guitar pick. I needed to prove to someone that I could swallow anything, and that was the lesser evil.

Whoever knew they were so sharp?

I had a century egg once, it was horrid and I refused to pay for it (it was well over $50). In the end I left the place and encouraged people to stay away from the Century Egg.

I never understood the appeal of those.

I can honestly say after eating it, I don't understand the appeal. I imagine it is akin to eating super hot ghost chillies (more of a dare than enjoyment). I know friends who love them and eat them whenever they can afford it, I will never eat at the same table as someone who orders it anymore.

A hotdog weiner that had been under my stove for around a month. It was cooked, at least.

Oh god, just thinking about it makes me want to puke...

Anything with milk or cream in it.
"Bah I'm only mildly lactose intolerance"
(Rushing to toilet fifty minutes later)

The cat certainly seemed to enjoy them, so I wanted to know what they tasted like... because I'm stupid like that...

For future reference; They taste like shit.
