A lot of things, but none I'd be willing to share. I'll just file them under 'typical teenage relationship bullshit and angst' and leave it at that.

In a nut shell, in 6th grade, I wrote a note to my future crush, that I've known since grade school, telling her to shut up, causing her to break into tears, then danced with her at a party a year later, and not sure where the hell I stand with her today thanks to lack of communication.

Yes, looking up on a guide how to get the stairs to fall down on Legend of Zelda: The ocarina of time in the 2nd dungeon pre-adulthood. Apparently, I didn't understand the domino effect of Bomb Flowers (For those of you who don't remember, there was a big pillar surrounded by bomb flowers lined up next to each other, with a bomb flower suspiciously absent in the middle. You blew it up and stairs descended). I cannot say in truth that I've never used a guide to beat every Zelda game because of that one night! The night before christmas, actually. I was playing to speed up time before Santa would come, and time slowed to a stop when I couldn't figure out how to drop the damn stairs! My excuse is that I was only...single digits, lets say, when the game came out. Maybe I was 9?

To be slightly more serious, I also have some 'typical teenage relationship bullshit and angst', stealing the label from Noamuth, that is actually still influencing my life today...sadly.

Not killing my brother before he erased my save on Super Mario 64 before I got the final star.

Buying Street Fighter 4? It's just sitting there, accusingly, glaring at me, while I play Skate 2 and The Lost and the Damned and other fun games...

regret doesn't teach you anything, it is something that hinders you. I have done things I wish I had done differently or not at all but regret nothing. At one time in my life it was exactly what I wanted even if just for a few minutes before I did said action. What I have done is learned what works and what doesn't and the things that I have felt remorse after doing. I keep that in mind and try to help it guide me in the future....but regret.....no never

I try not to have regrets, they only lead to worrying about what could have been. As far as I see it, that path is closed and will never be retrodden, so lets think more about whats to come rather than be stuck in the past.

I find, as I get older, mistakes that upset me as a teen really dont bother me anymore. I think you learn to learn from your mistakes and ensure you dont repeat them. Thus avoiding regret.

But everyone regrets something........

Exactly.. A lot of my regrets I have learned from and are slowly fading into just memories, but I still get a little guilt over some of them. But I try to just churn that into making sure things like that don't happen again, not if I can help it.

I regret nothing. Well, maybe a little.......but thats not the point. I'm pretty happy with my life right now and a pretty much go-with-the-flow attitude on things. I have made a few mistakes, a few I regret, and will probably make more in the future but thats all part of life. You only got one life to live and weather you like it or not, you gotta live it, so I like it.

I regret not being more social. I've been told it's part of what I've got, but I feel like I could be a different person if just a few people were nicer to me, if I was smarter back then, if people knew I didn't always get what they were saying...

The thing I most regret would be having sex on a tennis court. It was just a bad idea and well who it was with was not much better.
