Things you shouldnt do to your worse enemies

I was just watching an episode of sons of anarchy where they are all at prospects funeral and a fan drives past and fires into the funeral.

It got me thinking what are things that you think should never be done even to your worse enemies be it in a war, gang violence or just a one on one nemisis fight.

For me i think it would have to be firing into a funeral. Not only are the people mourning but it will most likely be filled with innocent women and children. It just seems so wrong.

on the same line of thinking, opening fire on a church or other similar building. im not religious but it just seems wrong too. also it wont help you win any hearts, minds or support opening fire on churches or funerals.

To defeat an enemy? Depends on the situation, but I prefer to take the Doctor Who method: most complex possible solution, with little-to-no death.

Afterwards, I would leave them alone. Defeat is enough.

And yes, I do think here are limits in war or combat. Things like rape or torture isn't acceptable, ever, in any situation.

Yeah i think funerals are of limit's i mean they are already dead there's no need to to hurt them/embarrass them any more!

Get anybody else involved. As soon as you get somebody else involved (their loved ones for example) you become the bad guy. Whatever they did wrong to upset you means nothing after you bring in people they care about as some kind of leverage or tool against them.

Forget where I had heard this this story, but some men broke into a house and forced the son to sleep with his own mother. Forcing someone to watch as their own son sleeps with his mom, that'd definitly be the worse thing I could think of. Seriously, how do you get over something like that?

I would like to extend this to not doing anything extremely harmful to any uninvolved loved one just to mess with your enemy. I also think it is vastly unnecessary to rape your enemy themselves, but I think the worst thing would be willful and permanent mutilation. Basically there are many things worse than death, and as long as you're busy breaking the law, I think it would be better to just get things over with and take out your enemy permanently.

there is nothing I wouldn't do to my worst enemy, there is a reason he/she is my worst enemy if he/she is not going to pull any pucnhes why should I as far as I'm concerned if you start something your not prepared to finish to the very end than don't start why have a worst enemy if you can't put the final nail in the coffin so to speak. So yeah nothing is off limits for me.

Show them mercy. Though this is more in extreme cases. Anyone who saw that LRR skit with the "good vs evil conscious" thing would be such a case. Taking the "morale hiugh ground" by not sinking to their level will be foolish when they come back and do it again. I mean, how can Batman sleep knowing every person Joker kills since last he could kill him is essentially his fault?
