... which you now hate.

For me, it's Rooster Teeth, especially the podcast. I would always look forward to the next RT podcast, it was probably the highlight of my week. But recently I've really begun to despise the entire crew for reasons I will not mention here for fear of setting this thread off on the wrong foot.

But enough about me, let's hear from you.

Screwattack is the first to come to mind. Used to like them, but I think they've screwed the pooch too hard now.

World of Warcraft I guess. Cataclysm hit, don't need to say much more that that. The game just got boring.

Warhammer 40k, the game that is, anybody who has been involved in the game for 5+ years should know what I mean.

Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the fluff, have 40+ 40k & Warhammer books on my shelf, but I hate GW more and more every time some kid convinces their parents to buy them a box of Ultrasmurfs for $65 that cost $35 when I was their age (about 10 years). Fuck you Games Workshop, with a big rusty choppa.

Man, I was just planning on getting into Warhammer 40k after quitting the Lord of the Rings version six or seven years ago.

See, I still like the game & the fluff (always loved the fluff)... but I'm definitely with you on hating Games Workshop and whoever does their pricing, even in the UK (that is to say, the source of all WH40K goodness) everything's s'damned expensive. I get all my models from other hobbyists these days... *le sigh* I kinda feel sorry for their staff, because they're basically forced to buy shitloads of the products (granted with a piddly staff discount), but don't really get remunerated for all the extra work they do. You've really got to love the hobby to work at a GW outlet, because most of my GW friends have long since left or moved up to head office to different depts (including one guy who's now at 'Eavy Metal).

Hell... *dons monocle and a superior air* I remember the good old days when paints cost £1!

weird i can't think of a single thing that i used to love but now hate. it may be because whenever i find a song/movie/item/fad that i enjoy i try to purposely limit my exposure to it so i can still enjoy the pleasure of it years later

i'm in the same party, with the exception of the yogscast. I guess I just don't find the mas entertaining as I used to, but calling it hate is taking it too far.

Energy drinks. I used to drink them constantly when I was younger, now I can drink them, but every now and then when I go to sip them I smell a whiff of something not unlike cowshit.

Working class people from the black country. I thought they were marvelous, salt of the earth types but it turns out they're just badly educated.

Sausage Biscuits. Then I had them with hot chocolate ._.

Also pop and rap music. NOW WAIT A MINUTE. I'm not one of those people that says "Pop and rap aren't music! They're evidence that our culture is in the crapper!" What I'm trying to say is that, I've stopped listening to ALL of it, and only listened to some of it.

Mountain Dew.

Years ago I used to guzzle the stuff like there was no tomorrow. Now, I will only very sparingly drink it. I blame it on my maturing taste pallet. It just tastes like pure syrup to me. That goes for all the different flavors of the stuff as well. I just can't drink it anymore.

Now, Ginger Ale on the other hand...that stuff I can drink!

[sub]I get called an old man by my family because of this. I'm 22. *sobs*[/sub]

Probably not entirely their fault.

The black country and the midlands as a whole have some very deprived areas.

Manga. I was really into it for a long time, after getting into it when I was 14, and I thought I'd just keep reading manga forever.

Oh wait, I'm 24 now and still read at least one new manga book every day. Nevermind.

I know what you mean. The prices are a joke, and are almost the entire reason for why I stopped collecting. Things are over double the price they were when I started and they keep releasing new rule books every couple of years (for the LOTR one especially).

I got sick of it eventually, which is a shame because it was a nice relaxing hobby.

OT: For me it's fiction based around modern/fairly modern war. Films, games and books I used to enjoy based around WW2 and other conflicts, but now I hate them. Although that's mainly because of the realisation that millions of people have died the last century for absolutely no good reason, and it's kind of sickening.

Meh, girly anime and manga. Like Sailor Moon and...I can't think of any more. And by "girly," I mean the shoujo genre. Which I used to like.

I used to like those kind just as much as I like such anime as Urusei Yatsura, Ranma1/2, Maison Ikkoku, and other great manga from a while back. Now though...I can barely watch anything other than Sailor Moon (Which, somehow, is still cool to me...I can't understand it either.) without recoiling away from the screen in disgust.

That didn't last long
