Ah...when you where younger did you believe in Santa?..(or Satan if you where that type of child) or the Easter bunny? ^_^! Cozy warm feelings of lie's told when you where younger or as an adult, now what do you still believe in and why? Love? Religion? Aliens? And no insults here it's a (sort of) grown up topic..

I'll go first, I used to believe in family values ..nuff said

Tooth Fair and Santa. Not that I was bothered. I still got my presents and money for losing teeth. Same with the Easter Bunny though I never liked that idea much since he didn't seem to actually do anything.

That whole Christianity/God thing too. Again, not bothered about that.

I believed in Santa for quite a while, and the easter bunny, same as most kids.
Now I believe in the sock gnomes, think about it, how many odd socks do you have? Where did the matching socks go?
And the pen gnomes, at the cinema where I work pens seem to evaporate if you put them down for even a second, a case of someone else taking the pen? I think not, somewhere those gnomes are living it up, sleeping cuddled up in my socks and surrounded by my pens!

I believed in God for a long time until i was about 12 or 13. Then i read some articles and basically found that the series of events that happened in my life were not the direct result of a almighty Wizard casting magic spells in the sky. I believed in all the traditional holiday mascots until about 11 or so i guess, about that time is when i really started learning how the world works.

God. I was raised Christian then I realized Santa was too good to be true. It took all of five seconds to extend that to God.

Used to strongly believe that everything that happens, happens, and happens for a reason.

Now, I'm not convinced there's a reason for everything. Stuff just happens.

God too. I tried, I tried for twelve years, but it never worked out. If I ever once asked a question out of line I was shouted at for blasphemy. What I want is to know the actual religion, not go to ANOTHER youth organization or fundraiser or you name it. My church was less focused on the religion and more on turning us into a non-profit organization.

Judaeo?Christian beliefs mostly. I just stopped believing in it. I was actually looked done upon by religious members for asking big questions(mostly questioning God).

Despite going to a christian school with preachy teachers and church sessions I don't think i ever held any sort of religious beliefs.
I think my parents were always pretty straight-forward about the Santa thing too. I knew he existed (as a fictional character) but i was always ok just playing along, as if it were a light-hearted joke between everyone.

I did have some really weird beliefs though, a result of crazy childhood imagination ;D
For example i used to think these particular set of bike racks in my area were levers that controlled the weather (they did look like levers!), and i had a pretty strong belief in ghosts.

I still kind of believe in supernatural stuff though, it'd be boring not to! ;D
