title says it all.

Anyway, what I'd like to see first off is the addition of Interruptions like the ones used in Mass Effects 2 and 3.

But I also hope that if they do go that route, that they'd add class-exclusive interruptions, such as a mage interuption that involves being able to cast a spell that sets an NPC's boots on fire

Also, while I hope it won't mess with the game's balance, I'd like to see Mages be given at least a slightly wider variety of means to counter or better defend against Templar attacks, unless Blood Magic is already supposed to do that, though from what I gather it seems to only undermine the Templar's ability to drain mana from Mages (since with Blood Magic you can use hit points instead of mana points).

And, if it wasn't already obvious that I'm a mage-centric Dragon Age fan, I'd also like to see moments where you get to throw mages a bone and hopefully make a new Circle of magi system where the Templars can't rule over Mages with an iron fist for a change.

But enough about me, what would you like to see in Dragon Age: Inqusition?

Less broody male LIs. Seriously. The romances in Bioware games are imo a great way to add replay value to the game, and I seriously don't want to suffer through a bunch of Fenrises and Anderses again.
LI:"I'm so dangerous, I don't deserve you. I love you. You are so kind. I'm bad for you. Can I move in with you? You wouldn't understand. You're going to hate me. You are too good for me. What will people say. I can't do this. I need time. I want you. I don't want to hurt you. This is Justice. I'm so bad."
Hawke: "Oh GOD! Shut up!"

...shudder

An expansive game world, open-world would be good. A more cohesive plot that doesn't just randomly jump three years at a time, more Varric, squad customisation, more varied enemies, better quests, a return to the unvoiced protagonist a la the first game (it allowed for way more detailed and varied responses) and so on.

I want having blood magic as a sub-class have an impact on conversations. I want being a mage to have impact on conversations. There's a goddam war going on where one of the factions is defined by being mages. If you being a mage doesn't have some impact, I'll be sorely disappointed. It was a hugely missed opportunity in 2, and I hope they don't miss it again.

I want Ranged Rogue to be viable without a game-breaking ability given to them like in Awakening. Ranged Rogue was shit in Origins, and in 2 wasn't much better. Awakening overfixed the problem by giving them an aura that made them into spear-chucking machineguns.

I'm hoping they don't nerf Dualist. I loves me some evasion tanking. And speaking of some of my favorite classes, I'm hoping there's a return of the Arcane Warrior. Best tank in Origins.

I want to be able to say fuck you to every party member like in Origins. You could literally go through 95% of the game with just you and Alistair and I loved that I had that option. Sure, you could just not bring them, but they still hang around your camp like unwanted guests, or show up unceremoniously while picking your party. I wanna play it like a buddy cop film again, at least on one playthrough.

Hiring some actual writers with talent rather than handing it over to the B team's fanfiction department would be a good start.

A well polished character focus for your companions that weaves into the main story.

Side-quests and party banter can be great, but I like to see the people in your group be able to play off each other or foster conflict in an impactful way.

Use the combat from Dragons Age 2 and take out the bullshit waves. Then slap all of the writers on your Dragon Age 2 team and go back and get the ones writing for Origins. Also don't let that guy that was rumored to have ruined the me3 ending anywhere near this game. Oh and you have already brought back the scope of Origins, so that's good.

edit: Oh and more companions from origins and less from DA2. Frankly, only keep the combat from DA2.

Exactly this. In Dragon Age 2, playing as a Mage Hawke, I jumped at the chance of being a Blood Mage, hoping to set a decent example so I could essentially go, "Hey, see what I'm doing? I'm using Blood Magic, and helping people! Good works, with no demon possession involved whatsoever. By Andrastes filthy knickers, Blood Mages can be good too!".

The way I saw it, Blood Magic was just a tool, one that had a greater chance of backfiring, while at the same time being more useful. More risky, but more rewarding.

Otherwise, since the wiki said you'll be able to choose an origin for your character, I'd love my Inquisitor to be from the Anderfels. Going off of lore, those are the real badasses of Thedas.

Besides that? Better customization options, better looking armor, and slightly improved combat. I loved Dragon Age 2 and it's combat, and I know that by god I don't want to go through the slog that was Origins combat again.

Oh... And Varric as a love interest.

Quite simple:

1) A game that isn't trying to be Skyrim by being open world. Skyrim wasn't even that good, why are we trying to copy it?
2) I thought that the Qunari conflict was infinitely more interesting than the whole mages vs templars nonsense. Try focusing on that maybe?
3) A story where your choice actually matters.
4) A battle system that revolves around delegating strategy as opposed to mashing buttons.
5) No Hawke.
6) Drop the Mass Effect dialogue wheel, and the voiced dialogue. Dragon Age Origins' system was far superior.
7) Give me the ability to customize my character's armor again!
9) Remove cooldown on potions.
10) Don't make 1000 enemies spawn behind me when I'm trying to strategize! It throws all strategy out of the window.
11) For the love of god PLEASE don't ruin Morrigan! Witch Hunt was an abomination! Don't repeat that!

1. Party member balance not being so polarizing with opinions. Want to be pro mage in DA2? Well, hope you don't mind antagonizing all of your warriors! You could toss in a self-depreciating circle mage (not depressing or anything, mind) or a warrior has magical family. Mix it up a bit!

2. Increase the speed of level-up a tad. Not a huge point, but it was very frustrating to have a specific build in mind that was utter crap for many level.

3. The ability to go to extremes OR be more reserved with your choices.

4. The fact that not everything needs to be balanced story wise. The only real reason I can see for Orsino's utterly moronic final action was that they needed two boss fights or the ending where you side with him would be "too easy". I'd much rather have a coherent narrative.

I just wish I could be a Dwarf again. Dwarves are awesome... (I know that only human is confirmed)

I know how you feel, I wish I could be an elf, but sadly in Inquisition that's not possible outside playing as whatever elf party members you'll get in your adventure... :(

This is not ironic or a stab at Bioware.

I want to see more plot holes and Retcons.

Dragon Age Origins is, was and forever will be one of my favorite games of all times.
Dragon Age 2 was... not that.

I mean it was fine. like 6.5 out of 10 easy. the writing was enjoyable, even if the plot was all over the place and the gameplay was just bad on a stick.

But the saving grace of Dragon Age 2 was that it had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Dragon Age Origins.

Anders was still alive, Justice was still alive, Nathan Howe was still alive, Alaster was still alive, Lelliana was still alive, Isabella forgot how to wear pants, Qunari had horns, etc. etc. etc.

So all these holes helped me distance my self from DAO enough to enjoy DA2 marginally.

Now if Dragon Age Inquisition if they fix the bloody combat system to the point where the game is even remotely playable.
And keep the Plot holes a plenty, I notice they already brought Morrigan back from the dead. And changed the Qunari again, so I'm not that worried. I can simply enjoy being in the universe even though it's not the excellent masterpiece universe I played Dragon Age Origins in. (If they bring back Wynne and Shale... oh yeah)

Dragon Age could just become like "Final Fantasy" Arguably the same feel every time but totally self contained and completely unrelated to one another. I could get behind that.

More Baldur's Gate remake like DA:O and less Mass Effect fantasy version like DA2.

Oh and if they name this Dragon Age 2: Inquisition, completely discrediting the last one, it'd do a lot for me.

Something closer to the original Dragon Age.

Also the complete absence of any version of this:

And this name missing from the Credits: CASEY HUDSON

Like DA2, but with more environment, character, and gameplay variety.

My main problem with DA2 was it's repetition. Fix that in the sequel and I'd play the shit out of it.

Develop the characters to the extent that you did the mass effect series. The anger at the original me3 ending not giving us any info about our beloved characters + the positive reception from the character focused citadel dlc should send a clear message to bioware.

No more half hearted companions
