So earlier today I was at the shop and I saw a Wii with a TV and such meant for people to try out Warioware... I figured I may aswell try it. So I went over and it was constantly telling me to do the annoying waggles and what not.. But straight away I noticed.. You cant! The control and nunchuck were stuck there, unable to move, like the usual holders they use for PS3 and 360 games to prevent the controllers being stolen, they had that for the wii.. Now I can understand they dont want them stolen.. But its the wii! You need to move the controller!

Anyone else had moments like this?

Hah, I see this all the time. I also hate it when the have the Wii displays showing games next to the PS3 and Xbox displays, but you can play the PS3 and XBOX and the Wii controller is inside the glass with the console so you can't play it.

Yeah, that's a brilliant way to market the console. Have the motion controllers immobile while having a game that relies ENTIRELY on said motion controlls, so that people all inevitably fail. Sure fire way to get plenty of sales.

O_O What the...? I'm at a loss for words...

As for a similar situation, I recall a DS with the Warioware Touched cartridge, but no stylus...

*sigh* 'British and a duder'. 'Fanny' over here means a woman's genitals.

Hooray, someone else who speaks proper english! High five to Australia, New Zeland and Britain.

OT: Meh, it's the Wii. They're probably worried the kiddies will try to steal it.

like at a store near to my old place, when the 360 was new they set one up to let people try it out but some bright spark of a new employee decided as the remotes were wireless people would steal them and refused to put them out, not realising they had a stand for them. the manager actually facepalmed when he came in and realised why all the gamers were angry.

Reminds me of the SNES days. Back then they had these SNES Demo machine set up in stores as you know, but for some stupid reason they had it automatically reset itself after like 30 sec. to a minute. This was esp. fail when they put Super Metroid in the thing 'cause anyone wanting to try the thing couldn't even get through the opening intro before the thing reset.

At least in this situation, you could use your finger or something.

I don't even consider US English to be English anymore. I call it just "American." And I LIVE in the US.
