Those amazing deals that really pay off

You guys know what I mean. When you find something really awesome for a small amount of money.

Today my library was selling off CD's and books for a dollar each. I bought Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness (Smashing Pumpkins) as well as Fashion Nugget (Cake). And now I can't stop listening to both. So much awesomeness that I got for two bucks.

So, Escapists, what kind of amazingly satisfying steals have you made?

Well...yes, but for other than games, I got How to Break Web Software [http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Break-Web-Software-Applications/dp/0321369440] for £5.

Spoiler: boring story

It was in a second hand book shot - all the other books I took notice in (computer related) were just too expensive for me - £20+ at the very least, this one didn't have a price and I was ready to pay up to ~15 quid. So I asked the shop owner - he obviously didn't know how to price it, since he just gave it to me for 5 quid and I went home really happy. And the book is a fun read, too!

Erm, incidentally, the same book store got closed rather permanently a couple of months back. I sort of feel I was partly responsible.
