you all know them, those guys the same ones in your schools that talk loud hit things with their fists and heads, yelling towards people 5 feet in front of them, also the same people in malls, on the street, theaters, any place where they can act obnoxious and talk about they next big party where there gonna talk about nothing but having sex, drinking, and smoking weed. you know those guys. so my question is what are your opinions about the type of people ive mentioned do you like them? do they anger you or are you unphased by them. please respond in at least a 2 to 3 lined message. no one word answers please.

You mean the Alexander Ovechkins of life? Oh, I usually avoid them.

Though usually those guys are also the ones that bother me constantly, even after i ask them to stop or leave (and the ones that usually show off in front of my gf or girl I'm with if I'm with one and try to get with them) so I give them a beating they wont soon forget. But thats a last resort really.

Other then that, I just think they're uneducated mindless apes and should be put in isolation.

The sad thing is that girls find trash like that attractive for some reason.

Aren't "those guyes" as you reffered to them sport idiots, or what else you call them? Bragging over their latest conquest of a lady and always bragging about something?

Ye, don't like 'em :p

Why would I think negatively about them? I get on quite well with them. Or at least I don't mind being around them, the same as I don't mind being around pretty much anyone.

I can only assume from the tone of your post that you dislike them, or even look down apon them, if so the only question is why?

Lifestyles, or things you enjoy don't have to be exclusive of each other, people don't have to fit into just one catagory. Next week is my works end of the year night out, it's usually a big thing which results in a few of us hardcore drinkers engaging in a 12-15 hour binge drinking session. So obviously, that's the main topic at work this week, where we're going, what we're drinking, who's going to try to pull, who's going to end up in a taxi by 9pm. Is it everyones idea of a good evening? Of course not, we don't drag the people who do not wish to go into the conversation.

At the same time I can talk to another guy about my progress in 100% completing AC: Brotherhood or Red Dead, or what game releases look interesting over the next few months. Again, it's not everyones idea of fun.

I just don't get the condescending feel of your post :s

what your talking about is a different type of person, i mean the people who talk nearly nothing other than parties they are planning on throwing but usually never do but talk about things like that for the sake of others hearing it. i like how you mention its not everyones idea of fun. however these people talk nothing about the beer they drink and wear it as a badge of honour of passing out and virtually making an ass out of them selves for no other reason than other people knowing about it. same reason they talk about every slight innuendo that can even remotly be connected to drugs or marijuana, they talk nothing about how good it feels and how there gonna smoke and gon on and on about how amazinf they feel stoned. then theres the classic "sports idiot" as someone called them? the type of person who is yelling towards the person in front of him, and basically as im saying this is hitting their heads or punching walls, lockers, etc... my "condescending feel" of my post is not against those who have parties and do those things, but those who talk non stop of them, even when there not engaging in these events for a while but of past times for no other reason than bringing it up for others to hear. and the other type who does meaningless things for...well im not too sure ive grown to accept they do those things... all the time.

Ah my apologies, I've possibly grown accustomed to the way certain activities seem to be looked down apon on here, such as drinking or going to parties or whatever so I took your OP as a blanket statement against everyone who engages in that sort of thing.

The kind of guy you're talking about seems to be what I hear reffered to as "the frat boy mentality". It's not such a big deal this side of the pond, or at least they might be in schools but it's been a few years since I left but in general culture they are not a big thing. The closest we get are possibly the trendy chavs but no part of my life every really brings me into contact with them so I'm usually blissfully ignorant of their behaviour.

I'm actually not sure I've ever met this type of person. But if I ever did, I'm pretty sure I'd just ignore them. No reason to let someone else get to me.

I do my best to avoid such people, not always possible though. Back when I was in high school I got them to leave me alone by verbally outwitting them (not too hard to do) and that made life much easier to deal with. Of course that doesn't work most of the time cause their egos aren't hurt by words anymore and for the most part they keep their distance from outsiders just like anyone else would do. That just makes it more annoying to me though, can't pay it forward like I would want...

Ah ye olde douche bag as the were called in the good old days. I don't like them, but I find if I lay low I will avoid confrontation long enough to complete my device. And then the tables shall be turned

1. See them
2. Roll eyes
3. Pull out SuperSoakerWalk away
4. Forget about them.

The douchebag in its natural habitat is hard to talk with, it is best to avoid them.

You mean the Sidney Crosbys of life?

I only ever really see them walking around campus with flip-flops -er, flippy-floppies- in spring and fall. I don't ever hear them speak. I think we call them "bros" here. Not that many in Edmonton, Alberta. Maybe at clubs, though. I haven't been to a club since I busted my knee, so I wouldn't know.

I hate them, and since at my age everyone's "Those Guys" I end up alone.
Which is fine by me, but some people think I'm depressed and suicidal, which is false.

Isn't Ovechkin supposed to be an okay guy aside from the whole over-celebrating thing? Are you thinking of Sean Avery?

Closer to the topic: I 100% seriously thought the OP was talking about the mentally disabled for the first 3/4 of the post.
