It's what Suicide Squad should have been. The story is interesting, it's grounded (by DC standards) and the character's actions are all believable.

Also Harley's costume is much closer to her original one then the one used in Suicide Squad, and the closer to that the better in my books.

Also the entire conflict of the plot doesn't revolve around the characters screwing up and fixing what they screwed up that cost thousands of lives

Not remembering much, but it was okay though I had a problem with how OP Batman was in it, I mean, they had a team in which every one should pose a challenge to the Caped Crusader by themselves and he takes them all out in the same time, and in general make Bats be some insane threat.
I'm the type of person who believes Batman is OP but I do think he could take everyone of those guys at once, with the exception of King Shark Bats could take this guys down with a couple of punches

Agree 10000%! It was so nice to see the Squad do what they're supposed to be doing, ie dangerous as fuck illegal missions that aren't directly caused by their handlers.

It's not perfect, but its fun. Really fun. Absurdly fun. It takes a colorful cast (Both visually and characterization wise), puts them in an absurd situation, and then lets the whole she-bang go off in a glorious display of insanity. The criminals act exactly how you expect them to (Working together right up until the point they don't have to, then falling into the usual rhythm of backstabbery we all love), Batman is in it exactly as much as he has to be, everyone gets a chance to be awesome, and it's FUN. JESUS CHRIST THAT'S ALL I WANT IS FUN. It also moves along at a brisk pace, not letting the story get bogged down too much in bullshit.

It has some flaws - It starts off with the 'I'm finally free' Harley, but then falls right back onto the old crutch of 'I luv muh puddin'.' Which isn't bad, but I was kind of happy to see individual Harley is something animated for a change. Waller is straight up retarded (But I guess that's kind of necessary when it comes to 90% of Suicide Squad stories).

But at the end of the day, it's probably the most fun we've seen out of DC is a long time, animated, live action or comic wise. And god damn it if it isn't glorious.

I enjoyed it. It was a good fun movie that seemed to get the characters and concept of the Squad. What more could you want? Well, for DC to do that in their big budget live action films, but let's not get crazy.

I don't have anything to add that hasn't already been said. AoA was pretty fun. Another good animated movie recently was Batman vs Robin which is a conflation of the Court of Owls and Batman and Son. Flashpoint Paradox was fun too.

It's about as good an adaptation as the live-action film was.

On the plus side, you've got a squad that is full of genuine assholes, as opposed to the Film!Squad, who are "kinda not really" assholes. That, and the animation is pretty good, and the plot makes more sense.

Also, Amanda Waller says "No-one messes with the Wall!"

(she needs to say that more often)

Zontar beat me to it.

It's easily the better Suicide Squad movie, pretty much on all levels and characters.

Though if anyone came off a bit OP, it was Deadshot. I mean, he was having an easier time with Joker than Batman usually does. Shame they didn't let Lawton be Lawton and off him...

Were you like me and kinda wished that Black Spider really DID take him out instead of ending up the way he did? (yes, Black Spider was my favorite out of the squad)
