Thoughts on CN's short "Welcome to my life"

Me personally I kinda enjoyed it, I really liked the easygoing dialogue

Its well done and interesting enough as a short story, but it seems to be aimed more at highschoolers/adults instead of the preteen crowd. I wonder why it was green lit?

I welcome it. It kinda remind me of Aardman shorts Creature Comfort.

It's very different to the current cartoon these days due to it's slower but relaxing pace and aswell no conflict or comedical presented in today cartoons.

I like it very much. It's way more laid back then even most of the laid back Cartoons (like Doug and Hey, Arnold!), but that makes it more interesting. I don't think that, if this were made into a show, it could stay that laid back, though. The Art Style is pretty cool, too.

I don't know. I think the reboot was worse than Omniverse. here's my ranking:

Agreed, but my favorite and considered the best is Alien Force. My problem with OG Ben was that Gwen and Ben's agrueing could get old fast. The show also seemed to be more biased towards Gwen allowed her more often to get away with shit Ben would get called out on if he had done it. Thank goodness their squabbles were dropped in AF/UA.

Agreed, though I have bothered with the "reboot". It being better than Omniverse is not much of an accomplishment. I don't know why some people were making a big fuss whenever somebody in the fandom likes the sequel series more than the OG show. Yeah, Ultimate Alien was a step down, but it had a satisfying conclusion, wrapping up nearly everything. Omniverse was just pandering to a small minority of Ben 10 fans that preferred the original. The worse mistake they made was retconning even more backstories or characters than AF or UA, and later trying to please everyone. All of that killed the franchise.

I found Omniverse to be worse because it was the follow up to the awesome Alien Force/Ultimate Alien era. At least the Reboot feels different enough to be its own thing, especially since I kinda find the art style of the reboot charming to look at.

That is percisely why I did not watch the OG series as often compared to Alien Force/Ultimate Alien era.

Because I found Ben himself from the Original Series to be such a ball bustingly annoying little shit. Its the same reason I don't like Naruto in the earliest seasons when he was 10 years old. (And unlike Ben 10 I never seen Naruto at all from beginning to end)

I was so glad that Ben MATURED alot by the time he became a 14-16-ish teenager. It now made me care about him as a charcater.

I don't really like the reboot art style. Looks like a bad retread of other CN tv shows. I mean I like Steven Universe and that has a unique style.

I liked Ultimate Alien, but kinda got sick of watching after a while. Found it a bit dull halfway through it
