Honestly does China natuarlly looks like a Fantasy land?
I think the fantasy feeling comes from the mountains. They're really unnatural in the way they just sprout up. The ones with trees on top of them are even worse.

It is just so weird cause of how some characters look straight out of Dynasty Warriors, and some don't.

It just won't feel like a Three Kingdoms game unless you bring back the debates in the ROTK system.

I want to create an officer that just insults people all game long. Also, knew what to do? What? Lead your troops into a politically motivated ambush on a river and die in your child's hands?

The real question is if Xuande is actually going to be shown as the unmitigated bellend he was historically? Like abandon some of his wives and infant children because they would slow down his retreat.

Seriously, why does Cao Cao get painted as the bad guy? He was smarter and employed people on the basis of talent and education. Cao Cao was the complete package. A diplomat, a writer, a strategist, a cavalry commander who personally lead troops in his younger days... Personally, I think the only reason why he getspainted asconniving and duplicitous is merely because he came from a eunuch family, yet was begifted the position of minister ... and ontop of that he wasn't exactly pious, or didn't hold in such high regard religious customs. Being seen as more rebellious and breaking with old customs.

Plus, you know ... kidnapping an emperor.

But he never once assumed the throne. Always put on airs of being a servant. Which probably speaks to the fact thathe was smartenough to know that he never needed to, and doing so would just be naked vanity.

He was also, unlike his competitors, an actually half decent father as well. Not such a good husband... kind of a bastard to the rest of his family. But at least not his immediate kin.

I've seen a few people play that one yet not a single one say whether this is under the historic or fantasy setting. I'm guessing fantasy but I'm fearing historic.

Otherwise, I dunno about multiple general per army, it just feel like it's gonna limit your option (can't have certain troop combination). At the same time I'm hoping total war goes toward individual unit being more expensive and less of them on the field at once. The system isn't designed to have giant 40 v 40 battle, I couldn't play Attila that much because of how easy it was to field 20 stack army, making every encounter giant clusterfuck.
