Timegate Studios files for bankruptcy protection

There is a source saying that Section 8 developer Timegate Studios filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection today at a Texas bankruptcy courthouse. Apparently, they owe about 10-50 million dollars to Epic Games, Agora Games, and DJ2 Entertainment. They also owed a bill of $34.80 to a local pizza shop.

My two cents: It's a shame what's happening to them. I really enjoyed Section 8 and Prejudice and I will miss them.

Cant say I will be sad to see them go.

The studio was run by a bunch of idiots who basically committed fraud. If you are to stupid to not understand that breaking contracts and taking money from a publisher meant to fund a game and not spending it on that game is a bad idea then you deserve to fail.
