Being a person who spends a considerable amount of time on the internet, I have come across a number of topics that intrigue me, so today I'd like to put out the question as to why most people tend to prefer the 1987 series to the 2003 series.
Now from my perspective, I'd mainly put this down to nostalgia as most of the internet personas I watch grew up with the 1987 series (James Rolfe and so on). But taking it from a perspective minus the nostalgia and from a more critical standpoint, I'd like some of you to tell me your opinion on it. Character development, writing, art style etc. Honestly, for me I preferred the somewhat more serious 2003 series with slightly darker characters and moments, but I can understand the attachments to the more cartoonish and cheerful design of the older series.
Case in point: DISCUSS
Also, for those of you wishing to voice your opinion on the upcoming TMNT movie, do that in your own time, or this, it matters not.
