No idea if anyone on here is even a fan, but I thought i'd give it a go!

With the recent announcement that on January 4th TNA will be broadcast live to go head to head with WWE's RAW, it seems that the Monday Night Wars Part 2 is officially kicking off.

Personally, I'm pretty excited for it, even if the outcome is only that the WWE will end their PG era of 'sports entertainment'. I mean why is everyone embarrassed to say the like WRESTLING. It might be all kayfabe/fake but it's still entertaining to watch!

Which company do you perfer? Do you think this is a mistake on TNA's part, and will send it the same way of WCW? Do you even watch wrestling?

I like WWE best, but it's hard to appreciate it when it's all staged. I prefer Celebrity Deathmatch.

I "watch" wrestling. I put it in quotes because for the general WWE shows, all I do is watch it online and just skip through the actual matches and just watch the general story line (which is like all of 10-15 mins out of the 2 hours.) The only matches I actually watch are the paperviews because the regular shows all seem to be terribly scripted where the paperviews seem to go all out and be interesting matches.

Also, good luck to TNA since the WWE has the celebrity hook on Mondays.

I am so disconnected from the wrestling world that i have no idea what TNA is or what WWE stands for.

TNA is better though because its called TNA, which i find hilarious

TNA= Total Non-stop Action

OT
I used to watch Smackdown on a Friday night and sometimes RAW on a Monday but Uni put a stop to that.
The Pay-per-views were pretty awesome, although sometimes they'd get a bit annoying, especially when they get a musician on, instead of a match.

It's all shit now anyway. Wrestling hasn't been good since WWF became WWE... It died a horrible death for me when raw and smackdown were split.

The aging superstars are really fucking boring to watch and the newer ones are all obnoxious pricks or women... Why is it always the women fighting when I turn over to it?

Where's Steve Austin, The Rock, Mankind even that nob end Kurt Angle was more likeable than John Cena or Batista... (rhetorical question btw)

I dont really like that bullshit fake wrestling. It's all the same, some guy comes out and says some shit about him being the best, some other blokes come in and detest this statement, they then orginize some match with some stupid name for the pay per view event in 2 weeks time.

WWE is bullshit, i guess i think this way because i do REAL fighting with real oponents that WANT to hurt you and you WANT TO HURT.

I keep up with it via the internet when I can. I don't really want to splash out on Sky for about 4 channels so it's the best I can do. Though TNA is now on Virgin1 so I might get freeview.[

That's actually the reason I've watched TNA for a few years. The guys are actually entertaining/ don't look like they're pumped up on steroids, and it's verydifficult to believe but the women can actually do a good job too. One got thrown onto thumbtacks the other week, not that's dedication. You can't even do that in the WWE games.

Wait, TNA's going head to head with fucking RAW?! They're so gonna get killed. They might win against ECW, or maybe even Smackdown, but Raw? No way, baby. Both Smarks and marks watch that show. This is the worst decision TNA has made, period.

EDIT: Here's a post I found at an another forum I won't risk mentioning for the fear of being put on probation:

We can't predict what will happen with the ratings, but as someone else astutely pointed out, it's a lose-lose situation for TNA.

TNA gets great ratings? They actually start believing they can compete, move to Mondays, annoy Vince, and get killed.
TNA gets terrible ratings? It's confirmed that they're no match for WWE.

What's the upside?

Ohh TNA..

This will not end well.

As much as I love TNA I don't think it can survive this. Just look at the size of the crowd compared to WWE.

They might get points for enthusiasm...

I'm hoping they at least push the WWE into catering for the audience that made them popular. I mean, when you have cage matches that don't use the cage, you know you've got something wrong.
I dread to think what this weekends TLC matches will be like.

My vote goes towards TNA but only because of the women. Though they are losing points rapidly for not attempting to hasten getting a new working visa for Angelina Love, especially with Maryse being back in WWE.

TNA could use better dialogue writers though.

And that would be the end of TNA. Sad. I haven't watched in years, but I was a big fan for a long time. Saw a lot of the guys come up from ROH, and still think Christopher Daniels is one of the hardest working and most talented guys in the biz (and nicest -- met him at E3 a few years back), but I don't see them coming out victorious against WWE.

I much prefer TNA but I agree that it will probably get wiped out in the Monday Night Wars. TNA seem to think Hulk Hogan will be their saviour(Hogan makes his TNA debut on Jan 4th) but to be honest you could cut between the two shows and get the general gist of both.

The reason I prefer TNA is because even with all the ex-WWEs (of which there are many) theres still so much fresh talent that are much more willing and exciting than WWEs wrestlers are. Even with WWEs massive roster talent-wise they are outweighed about 2-1 by TNA. WWE has Randy Orton and Triple H, TNA has Abyss, AJ Styles, Desmond Wolfe and Christopher Daniels.
