To Review Or Not To Review? That is Thee Question.

We(of course) are all gamers here and i have a question to ask. Now We have all seen many Video Games advertisements whether it be a commercial or a poster. But my question to you is do you let magizine reviews, or tv show reviews(G4tv) affect your view on a certain games? Or do you just wing it and go and rent, or buy the game???

Nah, not really. I just look at the video reviews, becuase I have a short attention-span, and that the reviewers, with the videos, can inform me of the flaws in the game. So, I know what to expect.

This is a tough one. Frankly, I haven't time or money to buy and *try* games so this is why I rely on reviews. I have difficulty trusting most though as they simply aren't critical enough and are quite willing to let silly things go by unmentioned. Zero Punctuation is perhaps the best reviewer out there because he's hard to please so if he's impressed with something it's probably worth paying attention to. And it's pure comedy to boot.

I tend to play a lot of older games anyway so the smoke has cleared with them; their reputation solidified.
