To see this, bring up the Steam window, hover your mouse over your nick on the top of the window and click on Profile. Then on the right hand side of that, click on Games.

My top five most played games:
1. Serious Sam 3: BFE - 231 hours
2. The Talos Principle - 112 hours (Not accurate though since I accidentally left it on at the pause menu all night. Maybe numerous times. So I think I'll just skip over this one.)
3. Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter - 80 hours
4. Far Cry 2 - 70 hours
5. Garry's Mod - 41 hours
6. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - 26 hours

And just for fun, some games that I KNOW are in the hundred hours mark at very least but not recorded,

I think playing over 1000 hours of it is why. I love Dark Souls 1, and want to play it more...but I got all the achievements, and as much as I want to play it again, I don't feel compelled to actually bother.

That said , I have Civ IV on steam and if you counted up all the playtime I had on it before I got the steam version it would be more than all those added together. The original DoW series, FO3 & Oblivion would probably top 500 hours too.

Honestly this thread has made me interested in estimating the hours of non-Steam games, games I owned as a disc, and games on my Xbox One (which thankfully does track time). I only got Steam for "Left 4 Dead 2", and beyond Valve games I didn't bother with it otherwise for years.

Games I know I've spent hundreds of hours with not-on-Steam:
"Halo 3"
"Oblivion" and "FarCry 1" (owned them on disc for years before getting the Steam versions recently)
"World of Warcraft"
"Rayman Legends". I may edit in my Xbox One time at some point.
Several of the "Call of Duty" games, but especially "Black Ops II".

(they were long time fans of the WC3 mod but didn't have Steam accounts at the time) Also, I've used my account to host servers for at least three of the games listed.

Still...that's a fuck-ton of hours. I'm slightly....well, quite a bit more than slightly...perturbed by them.
