And High Elves aswell. Oh man I cannot wait for this game already. Please have Red Scaled, FIRE breathing Dragons for the High Elven roster CA (Sun Dragons in lore)
Warhammer fans, I suppose?RiseOfTheWhiteWolf said:Booooo! Give me Medieval 3 or piss off! Who the hell asked for 3 Warhammer games in a row?

Presumably the people who contributed to making TW:WH the best selling entry of the entire TW series. CA are gonna be riding that train for a long time to come.RiseOfTheWhiteWolf said:Booooo! Give me Medieval 3 or piss off! Who the hell asked for 3 Warhammer games in a row?

Despite being one of those people, I'm kinda ambivalent about it. If the follow up games are just going to be new armies on a new map but with the same mechanics then I'll give it a miss or wait for a sale. The factions aren't distinctive enough to justify paying for more of them. Infantry is always infantry, archers are always archers and cavalry is always cavalry regardless of whether you're controlling humans, orc or bipedal lizards.
They are? So they got Man o War license? Because I would have heard of that from the Steam Forums of the game. Here Comes Tomorrow said:What if its a giant rat wheel that shoots lightning at thing?Zhukov said:I actually kinda like the Aztec look they have going on.

Also, they're adding naval battles. So there's that.
The Skaven are a myth, the rat-men creatures you thought you see was perhaps some variation of Beastmenerttheking said:Yeah yeah yeah, where the heck are the Skaven? That's what people want CA, don't be coy about it.
Last I checked they were adding naval, but not as full battles. They will have a auto resolve for navel combat.Samtemdo8 said:They are? So they got Man o War license? 1. Its just buisness, we all know its an expansion, its just that from a marketing standpoint its much more catchier to call it 2.bartholen said:Wait, WHAT? The first game is barely a year old, yet they're already pushing out a sequel? What in the mosquito fucking fuck? Has this been a business model for Creative Assembly in the past? I've been thinking of getting the game, but there's already a sequel coming out. I was sure it had to be a typo, until the logo quite clearly displayed the number in the background.
They are makeing one. I hope they take their time on it because the games started to stagnate a little before warhammer. (and warhammer only feels fresh because warhamer) Give them time to think up new systems.RiseOfTheWhiteWolf said:Booooo! Give me Medieval 3 or piss off! Why? Aside from elves that contradicts the fluff.Frankster said:having mixed gender group units
Simply because of the elves, I feel wood elves in particular should have a lot of mixed gender units and their hard segregation feels so unlike the wood elves..Damnit they do what they want, they are wood elves, they don't care for your stupid human gender norms! But this also applies to various degrees to the other elves, dark elves in particular should have mixed gender frontline units whereas high elves maybe not (not so sure about them, they seem more traditional). Here Comes Tomorrow said:Why? You wouldn't be able to tell with elves though. They're all tall, androgynous and slim and unless they get boob armor you wouldn't know.Frankster said:Simply because of the elves, I feel wood elves in particular should have a lot of mixed gender units and their hard segregation feels so unlike the wood elves..Damnit they do what they want, they are wood elves, they don't care for your stupid human gender norms! Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for mixed gender units for ALL (though admittedly i wouldn't be opposed to the idea, i played warhammer online where this was the case and always thought the empire chicks in it to be badasses xP) but because the engine itself isn't designed to support it, this is something that can't be implemented at all now (this is what some CA dev answered when asked about this anyways). And this is why we have no male wardancers and no female waywatchers, lame.
I'm not convinced that's true, androgynous does not mean identical, even if the differences are slight and the most obvious signs would be differing heights. Here Comes Tomorrow said:You wouldn't be able to tell with elves though. Which means you have to accentuate their feminine characteristics in order to make it clear that they're women which is a whole 'nother can of worms.
