Well, Toy Story Two is the weakest of the series (But it's still awesome). If you feel that Toy Story 3 is ripping you off, my advice is watch it all the way through. The ending just makes it so perfect.

What do you mean by "obtain"?
If you mean pirate, then you should be slapped, because no one should steal from Pixar.

Now to actually answer your question; its the greatest movie of the year. The only movie to ever make me cry tears of sad-happiness, if that makes any sense.

And what was wrong with Toy Story 2? I loved it. Then again I love everything from Pixar, but still.

Personally, I enjoyed all three movies immensely. The third one is a real tearjerker at times, especially if you've grown up with the series like many viewers have.

Incidentally, you should see it in theaters. I'm not about tell you off for pirating movies (I'm no saint myself, anyway), but Pixar is probably the last truly talented filmmaking organization in the business, and that should count for something.

I... how do you... exactly...

The second Toy Story is on a very short list of movies that almost if not does manage to be better than its predecessor. Toy Story two is amazing so I don't know what you will think of number 3...

It's Pixar, bow down to them. Now.
I can't imagine it being bad.

Off topic: Hmmmm, two movie threads by the same guy in two minutes.

I should really lamp you one for pirating this movie. However i think you will like it because i grew with this series and seeing the ending of this actually made me cry for a few minutes.

Actually, I didn't like TS2 either. It wasn't horrible by a long shot and it did have a few things on the first one (a more complicated villain, for one, better defined characters for another), but on the whole, I just didn't like it that much. Now, number three I really think is the best of the series. It really hit my sweet spot for movies in a way that hasn't been hit for a long time. It had that sense of greatness and vision that older animated features had, but that I haven't seen in any animated movie other than Miyazaki for a long time (excluding Ponyo, of course).

Edit: Am I seriously the only one who didn't cry at the ending? Not that the ending wasn't genuinely heart-warming and I didn't really like it, but seriously, I can't be the only one who was dry-eyed at it.

It's Toy Story. If there's one movie you shouldn't "obtain" this year, it's Toy Story 3. Come on.

What was wrong with it? I thought it better than the first, but 3 still trumps the other two.

Nah, the girl I was with was crying outright but I was shivering and felt on the verge of tears. The only movie I've cried at was Bridge to Terabitia. Nothing else.

What I thought of it, eh? I thought it was the best darned movie of at least the decade. The ending was so sad that I, being a manly man who does manly things, cried my heart out. Don't pirate it, you non-land lubber. Go pay that $10 and see it. Pixar deserves your money because it's so amazing. Seriously. GO. SEE. IT. Don't pirate it, or any of that crap. It's amazing on the big screen.

Why don't you just watch it like all the nice, law-abiding people?

Just saw it today, and thought it was excellent. Consistent quality should be rewarded, rather than have people like you about to go pirate it instead.

I liked the fact they didn't need a new voice actor for Andy also.

Even if you didn't like Toy Story 2 as much as the first (although I don't see what there was not to like about it) you will love the third one. Great all the way through and the ending really hits home. Trust me, bring some tissues.

EDIT: Pirating is bad, shame on you.

I get a feeling he may not be replying due to the harsh treatment of getting it illegally :)

1. Watch it in the movie theaters, dood.

2. If you disliked the second it was obviously only childhood that made you like the movie at all so don't bother with the third.

its good, my only gripe with Toy story 3 is its referencing to the first two, it was funny the first few times but some of it felt shoved in.
