I'm 27hrs in to XIII and have hated ALMOST every min of it and with SMG 2 coming out in less than a month in AUS i can get $70AU trade cash on it. Most other people the world over are all ready playing it, so.. worth it?

If you disliked it for so long and are out of the (linear) part, Yes. You should fine pressured to play a game you don't enjoy but you can always keep the save file for a future time like when the game drops in price or a friend does and allows you to borrow it.
