Well this looks interesting for a... wait what is this - an MMO? I never even heard of this game.
And about the name: Daggerdale? Really?
Yes, really. Daggerdale is a location in The Forgotten Realms. There is a whole area known as "The Dale Lands" which is dealt with heavily in the books and PnP RPGs due to Shadowdale being the home of Elminster (Sage and Uber-Wizard... until recently) and in close proximity to the ruins of "Myth Drannor" which is one of the nastier pits of monsters and treasure in that world.
Other dales are places like Daggerdale and Scardale, and all of them have been dealt with to some extent in the books. Truthfully Daggerdale is a decent place to develop for a game as it's been mentioned and used, but hasn't been detailed to the extent of Shadowdale, Neverwinter, Raven's Bluff (RPGA territory), or The Ten Towns (Icewind Dale).
The game itself doesn't look all that impressive, but the title is decent, and works for people who are fans of the setting. Ironically "The Forgotten Realms" is probably the most detailed and built up sword and sorcery world setting ever given all of the books, RPGs, etc... built around it. People aren't kidding about how some people get involved in ridiculously long discussions about "Realmslore".
Of course to most of the casual video game playing market, the name "Daggerdale" means very little, and it's hard for them to see why it's a good place to develop.
