About half an hour ago, I decided to check in my old lock box to see if I had any money lying around in there I forgot about that I could use. I didn't think I'd find anything other than various papers and old knick nacks I locked away as a kid, since I'd cleaned through the thing a year before for the same reason. But sure enough, the first envelope I grabbed was a birthday card from several years ago. I know it was old because it's when my Uncle Mike was married but before their baby was born. Took out the card, looked at it, then...it wouldn't go back into the envelope. Puzzled, I sat it down and looked in. Low and behold, a 20 dollar bill that I had no idea existed and was just sitting there all this time.

Well, I started this thread not only to express my joy at having found that money, but for you all to talk about times you found something special you never knew was there.
