Treyarch cannot take my money!

I recently picked up WaW again and have been incredibly frustrated by the xbox live. I played prior to the map packs and don't intend to buy them, but 80% of the games I join happen to involve map pack levels and I get auto kicked. Not only that, but Treyarch has the cheek to open up a DLC purchase menu for me.
Has this happened to any1 else and also do people thing its unfair that people who don't have map packs are discriminated against?

It's happening to everyone.
My experience is that every time one of these maps come up, it tends to get vetoed, at least they did when I last had a LIVE gold account. My experience was 8/10 matches weren't map pack maps and therefore didn't get vetoed. The other 2 matches were map packs and apparently, these maps are shit.

The DLC menu is so you can buy the maps and not trawl through Marketplace to find it.
Could be worse. You could be living in Germany where they have removed the Nazi Zombies game mode.

I got pissed at Treyarch at Map Pack 3, only releasing map packs to cater to Nazi Zombie players. Since I didn't give a shit about Nazi Zombies, I just got 3 mediocre maps.

It's like that with almost all shooters on Live. People get tired of the stock maps and want to use the ones they paid some cash for. Also, it's not Treyarch that brings up that menu. If you lack a map pack or other game add-on, a menu pops up asking you to buy it. It's in all Live games. It's one of those, either pay up or shut up situations. You don't have to buy the map packs, but then again you don't have to play against other people online either.

It's a lot worse on Halo 3. I can play Team Slayer, and that's about it. And that's after I got the Legendary map pack.
