Most people already know this game in some form. often it's called 'word tennis' or something similar.
Basically, I start off with a word. The next poster responds with a word which is one of three things:
- either it is associated with the previous word (eg: butter -> bread)
- or it rhymes with the previous word (eg: butter -> mutter)
- or it can be added to the previous word to make a new one (eg: butter -> fly)
If you choose the third option, the words have to be in the right order (so you can't do fly -> butter)
No proper names, suffixes or prefixes (so no soft -> ly)
