Trololololing: Recount your worst experience with trolls.

We've all seen them, we've all been affected by their utter douchery (is that a word?). You cant fight them, if you ban them, they go to another server/game and if you try to argue with them, it just makes it worse than ever before. Some people can be really badly affected by trolls, maybe developing anger and/or rage. Some trolls have actually ruined peoples work they've spent many hours on. So this thread is to be open about your experiences with the terrible animal know as the troll.

My worst experience with a troll was when in L4D, my three man team (one bot ofc) had gotten to the finale of the No Mercy campaign on expert. We had gotten to the rooftop and had rung the radio, then a little s**t called XxELITExSKILLSxX joined. He had taken the Auto shotgun and waited for when the horde started to com rushing at us. He started shooting at us, I tried to heal my teammate but he threw a molotov, thus incapacitating me and killing the teammate. When one of my teammates called him a little s**t c**t f**k (which I admit is not the proper way of dealing with a troll) he just replied "tats how u ply teh game u nub". We then proceeded to vote kick him.

I had my whole guild troll me on WoW. Worst moment everrrrr.

It was my first time downing LK and I didn't know that the raid wipes when you kill him. My GM knew I didn't know this, and informed the guild that a little trick needed to be played on me.
So we are doing our thing, and we get to this point where the raid dies. Everybody in Vent starts screaming at me, being like TOXIKA WTF YOU WIPED US WTF WERE YOU DOING?? and so on. I had no idea, I started crying and apologizing like mad, saying they could kick me from the guild for being so bad and wiping the raid. Then they all start laughing, and tell me grats on my Kingslayer title.

It was so sad.

I was literally being stalked by a guy in youtube. He downrated and left rude comments on all my videos and main page, and he got as far as following every comment I made on any video and responding to it.. It was fun for a while but he got blocked. He was a fanboy of a youtube celebrity I expressed my disdain to in the comments section

The worst I've faced is a group of Youtube trolls. There's a widely circulated video of an Airbus A320 (specifically Air France Flight 296) crashing into a forest after flying over an airstrip. In reality, this happened at an airshow shortly after the plane was put into service, and was carrying civilian passengers. The exact cause of the crash is disputed; the reports say that it was pilot error, the pilot claimed the plane didn't respond when he tried to pull up. Three people died in the crash, two of them children.

However, a television channel called TLC aired an episode, in which they managed to confuse the fly-by-wire system of the plane (you control the computer, computer controls the plane) with some sort of AI system, and claimed that the plane was completely unmanned during the crash. Now, ANY time a video surfaces on youtube about the crash, a group of trolls will attack anyone who claims the flight to have been manned, even if the video itself disputes this (i.e. anything that isn't TLC). When I posted a comment trying to clear things up, sure enough, I got about three replies telling me I was wrong (in addition to one saying I was bang on, so not everyone on youtube is trolling). In addition, I got a message from some other guy who told me what they were doing, and provided a list of 27 different troll accounts attributed to about five people.

Its not that youtube trolling is unusual, it's just the arrogance and lack of respect these particular trolls show surrounding an accident with casualties, including kids, and trying to convince naive viewers that these people never existed.

This guy was wining my fnm was 2-0 at this point then my third opponent dropped this in both rounds and equipped a sword on it :/ on the second time. in standard its not that big of a threat but in sealed on a fnm its a massive bomb.

On topic worst trolls iv'e came across were a pcw for css and the other team edited there match config to turn sv_cheats 1 on so they wireframed us the whole match till we saw one noclipping in like the 12th round :/

I got called a troll once when I said, in a civilized manner, that I thought Super Mario 3 was the best Mario game IMHO, on a youtube video about Super Mario World. Internet people are just stupid. Apparently, you can't share your own opinion unless it agrees with the masses, without attracting some hate.

Only the clueless have terrible experiences with trolls. The rest of us just ignore them when we spot one, or when the troll is particularly clever or funny, are in on the joke.

Dumbest thing you can do is call someone a troll and then continue to argue with that person.

The worst troll I ever encountered was in Gears of War 2. I beat this kid to the torque bow by a considerable margin, and he followed me around for the rest of the game, melee striking me. He would also stand in the way of my shots and get us both killed by doing so.

This went on for about 5 minutes at least, until I yielded and let him have his torque bow...

I was once in a League of Legends match with two asshole trolls
they claimed the bottom lane as Brand and Wukong (who are free this week) and fed like champs, their scored
Brand: 0-24-0
Wukong 0-31-0
they were like level 4 when the rest of us were level 12

Whenever we tried to surrender, they voted no.
the enemy team were nice enough to say that our loss was the fault of those two, and all eight of us reported the faggots.
