I need a new tv series to start watching! I was thinking Game of Thrones but was wondering did anyone have any good suggestions?

White Collar (USA) is about to wrap up its third season, but the first two can be picked up on DVD or from Netflix. Lost Girl (Sci-Fi) is new, but looks good so far. Outside of that, I don't watch much TV, but it might help to post more about what you like, or we're all just going to be stabbing in the dark.

Boardwalk Empire (HBO) is really good if you want to watch mob dealings during Prohibition. They just finished their second season and it's getting pretty damn crazy with what's going on, and I think it's on Netflix.

The I.T. Crowd is a british series with some similarity to The Big Bang Theory, but even funnier sometimes.

Archer is very funny too.

And I assume you watch Fringe. If you don't, then do so now! :-D

The I.T. Crowd is a british series with some similarity to The Big Bang Theory, but even funnier sometimes.

Archer is very funny too.

And I assume you watch Fringe. If you don't, then do so now! :-D

I love the I.T Crowd anything Graham Linehan does I love!! I don't see the fuss about big bang theory! Haha no don't watch fringe but have heard good things about it! Thank you

Seconded on Boardwalk Empire, that show is fantastic. It's only the second season they just finished, though. To me, Boardwalk Empire is on a shared first place with Game of Thrones for best TV series I've seen.

Other TV series I recommend:
- Sons of Anarchy. Season 4 ended back in December, but looking forward to the 5th season, come September.
- The Walking Dead, at least the first season. The first season was cool, had some great moments, but the series is, unfortunately becoming less and less interesting as the series progresses.
- Generation Kill. If you're in the mood for an amazing mini series about the Iraq War, this is the series to check out. I watched 6 out the 7 episodes in one day, because I was so caught up in it. Definitly recommended.
- The Wire. I can't say whether it's good or not yet, as I've yet to see it, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. I just ordered it, so I'll begin watching it soon, though!

Oh damn you're right, I should've said they're going on to a third season, so much for proof reading.... gotta fix that.

Walking Dead is fantastic and so is The Wire, you are in for a treat there. Chalky is in that and his role is amazing.

Gotta get back to watching boardwalk!! I have heard so much about game of thrones I am very excited to start it =) I loved season walking dead have not yet started season 2 it got mixed reviews! I have started the Wire it is brilliant kinda slow to start but once you get into it..it is brilliant! Will check out Generation kill too thank you =)
