Ubisoft announced this morning that it's working on Call of Juarez: The Gunslinger, which will be released on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC in 2013.

Was hoping for something a bit more tripple A really, but the last game damaged the series I guess.

Old west setting. Hell yes. I loved the first two games. Actually, I adore Bound in Blood. It's an amazing game. And it had a lot of replay value for me. I am excited about this. I only hope they make it longer this time.

I've never played any of the Juarez series, but have been curious. What can you tell me about them?

I would recommend the second game "bound in blood". It`s a prequel to the first one and you could describe it as a FPS in a western setting with two different characters. Each one has a special ability and you can choose between them at the start of the levels. There are some rail sequences, duells, horse riding and even a few free roam levels, where you can do little sidequests. Before RDR it was my favorite wild west setting game.

Glad to hear that they are back to the roots (hopefully) even if i liked "the cartel".

Edit: cut out the "(hopefully)". I`ve seen the new trailer.
