So, I was googling myself. (For no real reason) and I found a picture of me from 2 or 3 years ago.

I had really long hair, I look back at it now, and that looked terrible. Ugh, it makes me shudder just thinking about it.

Anybody else recall a style they had in the past that they now look back on with disdain, or disgust or something else bad that begins with a "D"?

I've seen a few pictures of me from a few years ago wearing stuff I'd not wear now, but there's no disdain, disgust, or embarrassment. I was learning what I liked, it was an invaluable experience. That's all it is to me.

Ha ha, sounds like me when I was younger, though in my defence I was at that age when my haircut was dictated by my parents.

I also used to wear giant over-sized, probably because I was skater and that was the cool thing. They look ridiculous now.

about a year ago i went through a kind of punk rock skinhead phase. You know, shaved head, combat boots, ect. Looking back on it, i didn't look bad, i just looked like an asshole and to the untrained eye, a racist. which was diffidently not the message i was trying to send lol.

Pretty much identical to what you said. I used to have a mop of it, down to around my nipples (Hell yeah?). Looking back I was just like "Oh my god. I was BEYOND hideous with that haircut. How did I even have friends!?"

I'm honestly surprised people weren't claiming I was the messiah. MY girlfriend thinks past school photos of me are something to have a quick chuckle at when she comes over, given that my parents have put it on display in the front room. Clearly as some kind of Geneva convention-breaking punishment
