i am new here and i decided randomly to make a topic and i decided that it should be about somthing i love to wacth aka Anime

the next thought that went over my mind was which one, i mean theres so many to choose from so i went to one of the first ones i wacthed and finished

i was wondering, anyone else like it or have an anime to put here insted, just say

First, welcome to the Escapist. Cpt. Oblivious still hasn't gotten rid of the body by the door despite constant notes on the refrigerator, so don't worry about that. Max'll eat it soon enough anyway. Be careful of the Grammar Nazis and so on, since they'll be here soon probably trying to call you out on your lack of grammar (which is acceptable for you given you're new here). Watch out for trolls and make sure to read the guidelines as soon as possible, since the mods are pretty alert so you might want to be a bit careful. Hope you have a good stay here, and enjoy your time with the Escapist

Right, onto the topic now. I was never a big fan of anime before (though I am looking forward to the Halo: Legends anime next year). However, I watched Elfen Lied recently and that made me want to look at more. I also have the Animatrix on DVD, so that's something else I like, and I'm aiming to watch Hellsing soon when I get the time to sit down and watch it. Not that interested in Naruto though, sorry guys...

Well, I guess you two have a point, but I feel that when someone is new and they want to start a topic, then they should, but only if it's following the rules and guidelines and it happens to be a good topic. I, like many here, am now interested in anime so I reckon it's a good topic. But normally, I'd agree that you guys have a good point.

Right well, to answer the thread the only anime series that really catches my eye is Bleach and maybe Halo Legends maybe
But as for anime movies I think you cannot go wrong with Hayao Myazaki's work.

Isn't Rosen Maiden the anime that SeisuisekiIRL has a look-a-like in?
On topic: I quite like Death Note, though the plot gets really convoluted at some points.

Hmmm, I think you may be right about SeisuisekiIRL's avatar, though I'm not certain. I've definitely heard that anime mentioned elsewhere though...

I would heartily recommend it. It's sort of like a crime/detective story but the murderer can kill from a continent away using his magic book. And it's from the killer's perspective showing him avoiding the law and making himself seem innocent and such.
