Has anyone else has the situation of a Teacher being ridiculously unfair.

I went through about 3/4 of a year in Grade 11 handing up fairly average English Studies essays.. being fairly shit at the subject as I was. However, towards the end of the year we had to do an essay on a subject of our choosing on the film Life as a House. I actually tried on this essay, over 1500 words, handed it up, got it back marked a few days later and at the bottom of the last page the words "Please see me after Class".

I went to the teacher and she said failed me on this essay for this reason. It was so good, she didnt think I wrote it. She thought I had gotten it off the internet as passed it up as my own. I was so pissed off and now being almost 3 years later, I am still a bit bitter about this.

I think this teacher hated me, a lot of them did... I wonder why?

I have three instances that come to mind. The first two are the same teacher.

1) In highschool chemistry class. Me and a friend tended to get the highest grades, however in my case I would get points deduction for not using complete sentences (ie. "NaCl" instead of "the chemical name of kitchen salt is Natrium Chloride") whereas my friend would not.

2) Same class, same year. I had already handed in my test and was looking at what the guy next to me was writing. My teacher called me a cheater and I got points deducted on that test even after I made it clear I had already handed it in.

3) University this time. My teacher failed me on a building desing (Architecture class) but in his own words. "I'm going to fail you on this, I'm not sure what on yet." WTF!?

EDIT: I know it's sodium in English, it's Natrium in Dutch, you can stop quoting me for that "mistake" now

I had an English teacher who also taught P.E. - something I was never any good at. So yeah, he was a lot less lenient with me.

There are examples of favouritism too - the football team at school would always get preferential treatment, much to the chagrin of the rugby, netball, athletics and hockey teams.

I had a teacher who would constantly give me detentions for talking. We tried an experiment once where I didn't say anything except "Hi" for the register, and I still got blamed for teh noise in the room. When we pointed out I'd specifically hadn't talked to prove that she singled me out, her explanation was that I'm still a bad influence.

Ahhh I hope she got/gets hit by a bus. One of those big double-decker ones that weigh more than a charging rhino.

When a side mate of mine copies my math test thingy we have to hand in every weak, he often gets one higher grade... It puzzles my as to why.

I always remember my dad telling me how a lecturer failed him uni because he said to her that he thought her class and what she was teaching in it was rubbish. Now that might be seen as unfair (admittedly it wasn't the smartest thing to say to your lecturer, but hey) by some, because that implies a very subjective bias on behalf of the teacher. Myself, I have never encountered a teacher being unfair, but everyone is human and teachers, especially on assignments where the answer is a matter of personal opinion, are more likely to award better marks to students they either like OR whose answer agrees with what they themselves believe in. Curious that.

More recently, one of my teachers got on my case about not believing in her God.
I nearly strangled her.
Over the fucking phone.
Why nearly? Trying to force belief down people's throats is one of the few things that is almost guaranteed to irredeemably piss off anyone above a certain age and level of intelligence.
Destroy her, Max. The world will be better for it.

I liked Religion (as in, subject at school) during my first year of high school. My priest almost never talked about religious stuff, and we never even used copybooks or read the Bible. Hey, he even once swore, right after kissing his cross and apologizing beforehand. Of course, he was only quoting some spoiled slut that snapped back at him the other day, but still. I know only one other teacher that isn't afraid of using harsh words when talking with us.

Now since our cool priest had some health problems and had to stay in a hospital for some time, they've sent a replacement. Now lessons are extremely boring, with the teacher either reading the Bible, asking us "Why is Christianity unique?" and constantly talking about great God is, that he loves everyone and everything and he's so good. I asked her "What about the homosexuals?" and she said "well, they are sick people, mentally sick, and like everyone who is sick they need to be cured". After that I told my mom that if she says anything like this again, I will simply stop attending Religion at school, seeing how I' apparently no longer a Christian.

Unless our priest returns next semester... Man, that would be kickass.

Or now we have a dumb English teacher that has a horrible German-like accent (Gut Job, Guyz - like a damn computer) and constantly talks about how our pronounciation is wrong. I have studied the language for at least 10 years now, I'm not going to change my accent just because one asswipe wants this.

I already got in MASSIVE trouble for making jokes in my assignments.
Like, principal-and-school-councilor-were-called-trouble.

If she suddenly dropped dead, people would suspect me.
No good.
Yet another case of "trawling for anything vaguely offensive"?

One solution: go to Britain and procure a chav (or get a minion to do it for you) and promise to buy them beer for the rest of their life if they remove said wench from existence. The chav, as is its nature, won't concern itself with anything like "hiding fingerprints" and will end up taking the fall.

Alternatively, just concentrate really, really hard. With a bit of luck, she'll spontaneously combust mid-class.

My drama teacher once told me to "shut up" even though everyone else in the class was talking too D:
But then... I did keep saying she looked like my mother in a bad mood.. So it might have been well deserved? xD
Also had a PE teacher that would always pick on me, once when I failed to catch a ball and I swore 'cause It bent my fingers back, she threatened to send me to the headteacher... For one swear? T^T Plus she said if I didn't start "trying" She would fail me no matter what grade I got.
The jokes on her though, I didn't even bother trying on the test and got a D, so I failed anyway.
SCREW YOU MS EVIL ANGRY TEACHER! >:D
wait..

Well, most of my English teachers were beyond crap.
But the one that really stands out as unfair would be my 7th grade English teacher...she had to have been bipolar.
Pretty much every day, she'd go from happy and joyful to a spiteful, nearly satanic creature.
Handing out our work was a particularly worrying time, as you never knew which version of her you'd get.
"Good job, Timmy, you got an A. Jonathan, you got a B+, good job! <color=red>SANDRA! HOW COULD YOU GET AN A?! YOU'RE USELESS, SLOVENLY, AND A HORRIBLE WRITER!"
I'm only exaggerating a little bit there.

Wow, that is truly infuriating.

I haven't had many occurrences which I can remember... A recent one is when my drama class was in the library on the computers ( we do assignments in this now boring as shit subject you see ). Me and my best mate were talking about nothing in particular at a low-medium volume. All of the popular kids in the class (sports jocks, sluts etc etc...)(which btw are nice sometimes but still arrogant) were being obnoxiously loud. I didn't give a fuck but the teacher seemed to think that me and my friend were talking at a ridiculously high level because she said "SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH boys! Inside voices!" and gave us a death stare; she did this at least 10 times...

Fuck I hate drama at the moment.

Most of my teachers are really cool though. My year 8 science teacher, although being pretty useless at dealing with disobedient students and not the best teacher in the world, is a huge metallica, led zep, and tool fan. We used to talk heaps about metallica and stuff, seeming as I couldn't possibly of cared less about year 8 science.

Oh, I can do a ton of those.
Our headmistress (don't want to be exteremly rude here but) is a *****. No overreacting. No misjudgement. She is just a *****.
Since I am finishing school this year (yippie-kai-yay), I can safely say how much it sucks. And it's all because of her. No, seriously. But, anyway, unfair...
This happened today. First of all, our department of education has come up with the most retarded idea ever - making students come to school 15 minutes earlier to do a fucking morning excercise routine. Today, half the school arrives ten minutes before the bell. And, guess what, the guards don't let anyone in. No one told ANYBODY that we should come 10 minutes before the start.
Later that day, she came up to the place where our class was hanging out and started dissing the way our girls dress, speaking some bullshit about "cleavage - exposing" (which, of course, wasn't there). I would never take that seriously but who should talk?! Lady, your hair is like a fucking palm tree. A blue palm tree.
What a *****.

I also had a teacher that was incredibly Sexist. She hated Men.. Dam Pot smoking fat Lesbian.

An Information Processing and Publishing class... all we did was type, it was so crap.
A girl in my class handed up a task, she marked it and gave it full marks with nothing wrong about it. I took her file, changed the name down the bottom to mine, handed it up and got 10/20 and it was covered in mistakes.

I confronted her about this, and she sent me outside and we had it out... I eventually lost of course and got sent to the Principal... who also hated me (not my fault though, my older brother was dating his daughter and he cheated on her about 10 times with 10 different girls.. then dumped her)
