Unpaid contributors to The Escapist

Spawning from the ongoing Extra Credits situation, it appears, at least from Twitter, that several contributors have not been paid.

I find this very disappointing as a regular user of the site. I know times are hard all over at the moment, but surely this isn't acceptable in any form of business?

Edit: Robert Moran (Unforgotten Realms) has just claimed he left after six months of non-payments, and that it took fourteen months to be paid in full.

Left after 6 months of non-payments, and it took 14 months to get fully paid back.
