So I have been playing a game called Space station 13, I have now found Out I will not play it anymore. The admins honestly act like if you say one thing out of your character you're banned, it's really stupid. It's like they take the game like real life. Has anyone else played this game and have to deal with these people who seem faded from reality.

Usually there's an out of character chat mode, which is fine provided you don't talk about the game. Because of the way it works it's very easy for someone to ruin the round by saying who the traitor is/metagaming etc.

Also if you're playing on a goon server then the mods will come done quite hard, but they're goons so what do you expect? I played the game for ages and never had a problem with moderators though.

If you have a game that's meant to be IC only as laid down by the admins' rules, that only seems fair enough. It's not so much a matter of them being uptight as it is a matter of them wanting to let people play a certain way.

Right. So basically, if they want to keep their game IC then you feel the need to console yourself with the notion that they're 'sad no lifers lolol'. They may have shot you down but no worry! You're socially superior! Objectively so, no less!

Um, no, that's just a basic rule of several games. If you're too lazy to actually RP, that's your problem, bro. You don't go into a CoD server to have a tea party or resolve problems non-violently, likewise you don't go into an IC RP to not roleplay.

Seriously, though, if you need to do things like ask for help OOC or tell someone something there's usually an OOC chat to do this, or there'll be some equivalent to private messaging. When I was new to an IC RP, I had people explain things to me through tells.

If you go into an RP server, expect to RP or GTFO. Thats how the locals want it. Luckily, most games have non-RP servers or chat, so just use that.
