Video Game ADD: Games you can't focus on?

I used the search bar, and I don't think anything really relates to my topic.

Anyway, as I have become old enough to afford buying video games more often there's one thing I've noticed. Sometimes, without warning, I'll just inexplicably stop playing a game. It doesn't have anything to do with the actual quality of the game, because I've completed some that were terrible (Prince of Persia - the new one), and abandoned some that were good. (Okami, Dragon Age, other various games I enjoy.) I still say that the games I liked were good, but I've never gone through and completed a majority of the games I own.

I figure it's some sort of Video Game Attention Deficit Disorder, where I can no longer focus on a game for a long period of time unless it hooks me.

So, big question. What games have you played lately that you've really enjoyed, but inexplicably stopped playing? What games have you not really enjoyed, but still played through to "completion"?

Also, I apologize if me using ADD in this way offends anyone. People can be sensitive?

I find this with World of Warcraft. It just doesn't exit me, because it's boring, so I do find I just stop playing it.

I sort of have WoW ADD. I play for a few months then stop for a few months, then start playing again, and so on.

Dawn of War Soulstorm, every battle is a skirmish in new terrain with the same units. In a campaign I typically do either 1 stronghold or 2 normal batters per day because it's just so damn repetitive.

I have that problem on WoW i mean its a great game I've spent hours wasting my life on the game but then out of know where i just don't want to play every alt,raid,arena,battleground i find boring and just can't get myself to play it anymore, I just play only to run friends through instances and that takes only like 30 min.
~I'm sure in a month I'll play like a WoW addict anyways~ :)

The first Farcry - I like, it's a good shooter (stealth is bit of a joke) but it takes me back to they days when all you needed was an assault rifle and the ability to take enough bullets create the foundations of a small island nation somewhere in the Pacific. And yet... Every time I start playing I just end up putting down the controller and doing something else after 20 minutes. It's not like it bores me; it's just that I can't play it for very long.

WoW.
Bores the hell out of me.

That is the only game I have forced myself to play, all others I will just turn off, it was just the amount of real life friends playing it that made me try and find things to like.

Found PvP and loved it then everyone changed servers to be Allys and it was shite again.

Fallout 3.
Bioshock.
Dawn of War (1, though 2 took me a lot longer than it should have because I took a break for a while.)
Wolfenstein.
FEAR 2.
Doom 3.
Quake 4.
Command and Conquer 3.
Stronghold.
Stronghold Crusader.
Stronghold 2.
Defense Grid.
Plants vs Zombies.
Psychonauts (x100)
GRiD.
Dungeon Lords (not a good game, but I'm definitely close to the end and yeah...)
SPORE (same, except there is no "end")
Age of Empires III.
Far Cry
GTA IV.

~~~~~~~~
This is only games I have installed on my computer RIGHT NOW.
This is ignoring every console I own, and countless hundreds of PC games from years past.
I just realized 90% of the list is FPS and RTS, and I don't know if that's because the games are that genre, or because it's the genre I've been playing most, but I actually got myself to go back and complete Braid, to complete Trine, etc... And I still haven't gotten back to some of these when I really wanna get back to them. :/
I cannot in good consicence play any GTA game for more than an hour without wanting to play something else. Ditto goes for Sonic's more recent outings, I had to force myself to finish Chronicles.
I do the exact same thing! It's the only way that I justify that I'm not addicted to it. :p
I have tons of games that I WANT to complete, but every time I have time to play a game I just end up wasting it on other things..
