Gordon Freeman and Max Payne

Max Payne is especailly meaning ful, as going back to his gmaes when I was a little older each time, made it all make more sense. The first time I played I was about 8-9 and i just thought, "cool slow-mo!"

I am dreading number 3, as I will have to play it, but it will most likely trash my memories.

Yea, my dad first got it when I was about 8. Naturally I wanted to play, so I did. Didn't get very far and spent most time on Free Ridep mode. I then played it again at about 12 and I played it last Winter-een-Mas.

Wow. An original thread. I'd have to say Kyle Katarn from the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games and Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider games. I played loads more games than those, but none with a recurring character.
