Care to define "Re-playability"? As by your current standards I could easily recommend any sports game, of XBLA Shmups, or an old copy of Rock Band or something as those technically would have it in spades.

Or is this more a suggestion for a story focused game, perhaps a genre in particular?

Both Mass Effect games. I'd also recommend any of the Halo titles you can get for under $40 (your currency sucks, get a proper one etc.). Both game series have replayability to an extent - Mass Effect, being an RPG, has more, but I played Halo 3's campaign 5 times over before I got bored due to the somewhat nonlinear combat - and they're both great fun. And also, they're sci-fi space operas on strange and interesting new worlds, with intriguing backgrounds and art styles (Mass Effect has the better background while Halo has the better art style IMO). Word of warning, Mass Effect 2 and the later Halo games won't make a bit of sense if you don't read up on the background or play the original(s) first.

I recommend Fable 2. Quite interesting to see how things are different when you are good and evil. Plus I like the story.

I can't recommend Fable 3 yet since I won't get it until tomorrow, but you could try that.

If you don't mind JRPGs then go buy Tales of Vesperia, excellent combat system and characters though the story loses it's shit around act 3.There's ton to do and the ex game adds plenty of replayabilty.

If JRPGs aren't you're thing then Ninja Gaiden 2 might be good, yeah the story and characters are laughable but he combat is a great big shiny ball of fun.

Fallout 3 with DLC is also a p good option to go for. It might be under $40 right now. Very much bang-for-your-buck.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, sure its a tiny bit dated now and prone to a lot of loading bars, but there's a good 30 hours of gameplay in it and i found it very imersive.

Exactly the same can be said for Fallout 3 (i dont have new vegas yet but that sounds good as well)

I don't believe we've reached the stage at which you can purchase the game and a guitar for < $40.
Sadly.

Uh, he said it should have replayability. Mass effect, while a good game doesn't exactly have buckets of gameplay IMO.

I'd recommend a large RPG, possibly sandbox like TES or FO3.

Perfect Dark is on XBLA for a song, and I'm still playing it on my N64 to this day... 10 years after it's release.

...Just sayin'
