I knew this DLC was destined to fail. And it's good it did. It shows us just how bad of a company Taleworlds really is. I bet they didn't even have anything to do with the game itself, other than bragging rights and it's the Brytenwalda team who did all the work. And we all know Brytenwalda mod was a bugged, unbalanced mess. The same thing was with With Fire and Sword expansion - all they did was buying rights to a mod and releasing it without any changes (there were typos and grammatical error in translations, texture bugs, balance bugs and such).

yeah, it's obviously got quite a bit of work to do..but honestly, the user is taking the worst bits it can (random graphical glitches, and having it on medium settings) as a representation of it as a whole. I didn't get the DLC because I'll wait until it's fixed and see if it's actually worth it, but trashing the whole release over a single minute of that person specifically trying to trash the DLC (on multiplayer I might add, most people I know who play the game don't touch the multiplayer portion.) while not pointing out anything that it adds positively to the game as well.

I've played enough Mount & Blade over the years to be able to tell when someone's turned the graphics down to minimum. Here's someone playing the game after release and it looks just fine, y'know, by the standards of a game that was released four years ago and wasn't even close to a looker back then either.

Even so I have heard that it's been proving quite buggy on release, but that most of the bugs were multiplayer related as well.

I'll probably pick it up, I loves me some Mount & Blade after all and I liked Brytenwalda so no reason not to. Probably take my time though, I'm in no rush and hopefully patches will have sorted these things out by the time I get around to playing it.

yeah that looks more accurate to an average persons playthrough of the mod...not that I'm denying there are bugs or that it isn't polished as well as it should be, but taking it to the far extreme that the OP's video shows, you'd think it was satire.

Taleworlds has been bumming me out lately. Advertising mods that cost almost as much as the base game, but come out buggy and broken. While the multiple mods I have downloaded for free work fine. As long as A Clash of Kings and 1257 A.D. exist and are free, these mods have no excuse to be this broken and then ask money for them. With Fire and Sword was an abomination was well, something another free mod does better. Taleworlds better bring the thunder with Bannerlord.
