Let me point out that Viva Piniata isn't for hardcore gaming but it is hard core addictive.
This game targets the younger audience and may even fancy some of the older audience as there is an actual challenge behind the rainbow coloured remains of what use to be a horse statio.
There is huge variety withing the game and how you play it. There are hundreds of different types of piniata's from a whirlm to a clucky. Each representing an animal in fragile piniata mode which you can smack silly with a shovel that upgrades and increases power over time until the cows come home or enemys. (yes, candy does fall out)
Your main objective in the game is to take care of new land that you have aqquired and house as many piniata as posible so that your overall land price can rise. Along the way you can plant seeds to create trees, shrubs, bushes and potential harmfull plants for your piniatas. Piniatas in this game are one of two things: Black and white indicating that you do not own them and need to fulfill there reequirements to obtain then and Colourfull Piniatas which are your piniatas that you own and that you can sell or customize.
In the game you will be given random tasks that just require you to sacrafice a piniata momentarly of the games choice in order to get random candy to fall around your garden, But its not all piece and quite as you do have enemys who do eneter your land and are hard to fend off which can in turn wreck your garden and make you piniatas sick which can cause the main evil dude to come and try to destroy that piniata.
So all in all this is a good game and is majorly addictive to any gamer so I will give it a 6.5 out of 10.........although if this was around the time Xbox360 came out I would say 7 or 8 out of 10.
